Store Wine in Fridge?

Postby dcb2011 » Thu Jul 27, 2017 1:30 am UTC

I recently bought a few bottles of wine I probably won't drink right away. Considering that it is summer, and the temperatures here are pretty warm, it made me wonder if I should store the wine in the fridge. We don't have a wine cellar. Any advice? Should wine be stored in the fridge until it is ready to be drunk?

What kind of wine? How warm is warm? How long do you think you will be storing it?

Unless your house has no cooling I would not refrigerate it until you open it.

Depend of the wine. Each kind of wine requires different temperature. First you have to inform about the required temperature for one specific wine

For beer, wine, and soft drinks, we can only store them in a cool place or the freezer compartment of the refrigerator, never to prevent ice cubes. Because when the temperature is too low, it not only damages the molecules that makeup, ruins the taste, but also changes the pressure, which can cause an explosion.
