And the fact that keeping your legs closed is supposed to be enough tells me that this sort of Conservative clearly isn't very creative in bed.

There's a yoga app for that.

But why an aspirin? Wouldn't anything work fine for either function (putting it under your shoe to make your limp or between your knees to keep your legs closed)?

It is their way of saying, "If you want to use health care to keep from getting pregnant, don't use abortions or the morning after pill, keep an aspirin between your legs." That is, abstinence > reproductive medicine.

Except for the whole "no sex" bit

Yes, sourmilk, I think we're all aware of the flaws.

Just wait until we have sex androids. Then you'll be able to have all sorts of wild sex without breaking your abstinence vow!

I don't need sex androids for that. I am already able to have all sorts of wild sex without breaking my abstinence vow!

I know we all are, but clearly Rush Limbaugh isn't.

I don't think Rush Limbaugh is participating in this thread, so I'm unsure how you were expecting him to read that.

Heh... I'd imagine the mods would have to ban him shortly after his first post.
We're in the traffic-chopper over the XKCD boards where there's been a thread-derailment. A Liquified Godwin spill has evacuated threads in a fourty-post radius of the accident, Lolcats and TVTropes have broken free of their containers. It is believed that the Point has perished.

One can hope.

Yeah, probably. We tolerate idiocy here (see: me), but we don't tolerate hateful idiocy.

Of course, Limbaugh doesn't practice abstinence or anything close. He just limits his sexy times to sex tourist destinations where he doesn't have to worry about the consequences, like any other red blooded American.

I wonder; Do you know how true that statement is?
Why do they hate us? It is not our freedoms.

Sex tourism plus unapologetic torture of innocents and well..? Yuck.

I'm sure that these (American sex tourists) exist, but I've never heard that it was endemic to the US. Is there any evidence that this is more of a problem with US citizens than it is with citizens of other countries?

I have a hunch it correlates pretty well with ease of access to countries that are relatively worse-off per capita than you are. So no, I doubt the US is particularly special in this regard. In the UK we've had documentaries following 55-year old women on their not-very-sexy adventures to the Caribbean. That was one of the saddest half-hours of my life.

I kept reading the line with "Mr. Friend" and kept on thinking of Friend from 20th Century Boys...

Hi

I am from India. And here is a secret - normal educated Indians keep away from the yoga ashrams and yoga gurus, people in West have a facination for. Why? Because they are hotbeds for sleaze and drugs. There are a few genuine names, but few and far in between. Though Yoga is common in parks all over India, and most people do it in homes, there is a general consensus that Westerners have confused notions of what yoga is, and their motto of life being Hedonism, we should let them have their fun with the sleazy babas and ashrams. So all the best to you guys!!

Regards,

CP

Hm...I'm not a representative sample, but I am American and a pretty big fan of hedonism.
