Alt text: I didn't even know I *had* the Monty Python 'Lumberjack' song.

...This was a triumph...

EDIT: BTW, happy 400th comic!

I actually have a copy of a local Omaha band, Haven 21, doing the Power Rangers theme on my computer. I better remember not to play that album either...

Curse you! I thought I was going to be first!

... I have both the Power Rangers song and the Lumberjack song.

And I associated Power Rangers with Captain Planet in my head, for some reason.

In short, I lol'd.

EDIT: Not one, but 4 people ninja'd me to it. The fourth happened in between me finding out that 3 people had ninja'd me, and me clicking on the post button o_O.

May I just say I was surprised by how graphic this was? Not expected.

I'll be honest for a moment and say that that has probably actually happened to me. If not with the Power Rangers Theme then with something of equal geekitude. And I love it. Not because the righteous power solos get me off, but because I know that the one I'm with is laughing along with me as thrusts synchronize with rhythm. And to be able to share that kind of honest and pure fun at any time is the reason we fell in love in the first place.

Fortunately, I keep songs (such as the Power Rangers Theme) in a different playlist.

Hah...this is my favorite XKCD in a while. Can't say that has ever happened to me, though.

My worst-sex-shuffle-song proposal would have to be "Creature of the Night" from the Rocky Horror soundtrack. Egads.

LOL. Power Rangers really is the worst thing to hear during sex.

Unless she's into spandex costumes and role-playing.

Actually, I think that would be a pretty awesome song, if not for sex, then at least for making out, because of all the possible double entendres. Also, it's just, you know, a nice song.

Contrabass wrote:Imagine getting Rickrolled in the act. The shuffle has a sick sense of humor.

and yea i would have to agree that would probbally be the worst of em all. Even though mood wise i guess its not as bad as the lumberjack song or the starcraft sound track (yes i have both as well as many others. i need to pay close attention when ever i put my ipod on shuffle)

Any ideas about the sex/gender of the two characters? Noting that the reclining one has hair.

You know, if the girl I was having sex with didn't appreciate that the Power Rangers theme song came on, I think I would have to stop having sex with her.

Cunnilingus probably.

ah, didn't look at the link. full on ninja. I think you might want to keep songs like that somewhere entirely different on your computer. In fact, I wouldn't trust shuffle at all. Some genres just wouldn't work.

I don't know: "Go Go Power Rangers" may work to your advantage.

Besides, the original pink ranger turned out kinda hot...

I like the sex-positive drawing. And this has happened to me. Apparently, "Copacabana" is emasculating.

And the one performing oral sex does not. If you consider for a moment that the reclining person has a hand on the head of the person performing oral sex, and that such behavior is only socially acceptable for women, I would have to conclude that it is, in fact, either a man or an unusually bald woman performing oral sex upon a woman.

The worst for me would be "Dude Looks Like a Lady" by Aerosmith. "Lola" by The Kinks has been known to come up at the wrong time, too.

I had Tenacious D's "F*** Her Gently" come out of my "shuffle all" while making out once...awkward silence then hysterical laughter.

It's not like you don't appreciate it, it simply turns you SO OFF. I mean, the Star Wars soundtrack or something at least sounds good. ;)

Btw, I didn't know that there's some kind of a socially acceptable hand position during oral sex...

So my girlfriends mom died in a tragic accident two years ago, and a few months into us starting as a couple we were having sex in my room when an Atmosphere song kicks in with the odd soundbyte: "Kill your mother, Kill your mother, Kill your mother..."

Mood ruiner :(

I don't think this would be that bad. It'd be like cheering me on, you know? "Go! Go!".
This is making me look at my whole library differently. I don't think the Klingon Battle Anthem would do me any favors. Though if the AoE2 background music came on during, I'd just let it play. I wouldn't let her change it.

"One-Winged Angel" and "Let's Get it On" have the same probability of coming up, I suppose. I think something like William Shatner's solo album or Dethklok coming up would be worth the good story.

I just think of other hilarious music. Chocolate Rain? Gogol Bordello? I have some weird shit, too. Tuvan Throat singing over southern blues would be weird.

Now the dilemma is, do you stop making love and change song, or carry on (This is similar to needing to go to the toilet in the early morning but it's so cold outside the bedsheets.)

Not as bad as this but fairly inappropriate songs have come out during my love making. However, my choices in music have changed a fair bit over the last 6 months and if i was to lure a girl into my bedroom now I'd be sure to put on some smooth jazz or orchestrated classical.
