Traditionally, the TaT frames were posted like this:
custom ong text
[ url = the viewer page ] [ img ] the frame [ /img ] [ /url ]
[ spoiler ] alt test [ /spoiler ]
I added to the viewer the option to generate BBcode for posting the frame this way.
So for every frame there is a link "[bbcode]". Clicking it generates the bbcode but without the spoiler alt text.
Because sometimes you don't want the spoiler. But then another link is available "[spoiler]" which gives you full bbcode, with the spoiler included.
But it could be that even if you have the full text but still don't want to post it by yourself.
So there is the link (actually a form disguised as a link, check the html) "[ONG this for me]".
If you click the link the bot will post this to the OTT.
The link appears for the current frame of an ongoing story (currently phys).
It doesn't depend on the frame being posted to the OTT.
The viewer doesn't even know if the frame was posted or not.
But the bot can know it.
If the bot posts the frame, it will refuse to do it if you click this again.
And even if it is the first time, it will check the ott if the frame is already there.
The "Additional information" is another thing.
It is not automatic.
There is an interface where the author (or whoever knows the password) can upload an bbcode post to a frame on the viewer.
It is possible to to have more than one post for one frame.
Not only phys has it.
Other stories have it too but under different names:
(Stories like BSTA or The Advent use a different mechanism for the text under the frame, which doesn't require clicking any link and has some other differences)
The "Additional information" was not available from the beginning.
They started appearing some time ago.
It is not possible to add an "Additional information" to frames like 84a or 71a.
The system supports only normal frame numbers.
But it shouldn't be very difficult to change it so I think I will do it.
The special frame numbers like 71a.
They were added to be able to show the meteor frames
That was the only reason for this.
They were not supposed to be onged.
But what has happened cannot unhappen.
After this thing was created it became more important.
Actually, it is still not possible to ong new meteor frames.
But it is possible to tell the system that they have always been there.
And then use the demustarding feature to re-upload the frames.
But the "re-upoad" actually becomes the first upload.
(The time you see under the frame is when this frame was uploaded for the first time)
It is possible to insert meteor frames between existing frames.
And it is possible to insert meteor frames just after the last frame but the viewer won't link to them until a normal frame is onged after them.
