It's the end!

I've been so excited to get to this point, and here it finally is! I have now experienced the whole of the OTC and enjoyed experiencing the OTT along with it, getting a glimpse of how you all experienced the experience but unable to really experience it as my experience is so far time-shiftied from the original experience.

And now experience doesn't sound like a real word any more.

But blitzing this thread so far has been a great experience, even though it's been a spread-out journey over five years, in various fits and starts. I'm actually still interested in reading more of the OTT (I'm still less than half-way through, how is that possible?), especially reading the reaction to the ending, but we'll see whether I ever make it to the present.

Thanks xuys for the experience!

Ice cream for mattachu:

I hope that the experience you experienced while experiencing the OTT was very, uh, experiential. Good luck on your continued blitz. Of course, if you ever decide you just want to take a Time portal all the way to the present, that's perfectly fine too. There are many ways to TIme.

ETA some things I forgot:

Per unspoken decree, continued thoughts and prayers for SBN.

When I get into panic mode, I would like a tape player that could use to fast forward to get past the stressful stuff.

Jose, let me know if you need a flashlight to find your way out of the basement. Or a chocolate banana slug.

Redundant:
Spoiler:
Yep, it's just redundant.

The experience continues, I hope you'll continue to enjoy it. You're welcome here in the present anytime.

We are OTTers. Prepare to be experienced. Waiting is productive. We will add your distinct experiences to our own.

I'm glad to have the experience of experiencing your words about your experience and how your experiencing of our experiences shaped your own experiences, which has in turn become a part of our own experience, though I suppose I can only speak to my own experience and not the experience of others, though I expect many co-experiencers will soon re-experience my experience of your experience of our experiences, thus shaping their own experiences, and possibly describing their experiences so they in turn can affect your experiences and my experiences in an experience feedback loop.

Or, so I've learned can happen. From experience.

This seems very familiar.

some time ago I wrote:More about this. What makes a community what it is, is how its members perceive it.

Of course everyone acn have a little (or completely) different view of the community but as long as these views shape the community without conflicts it's not a problems. But what shapes one person's view of the community? It's who xe is, it's who the other members are and what's in the interactions. But how does one know who others are? From seeing their interactions in the community. And how does one see those? From reading the platform.
Image
It's all there! In the platform. In the data. All what made the community what it si is somehow encoded in the data! That's really crazy if you think about it (If you don't think about it it's still crazy but you don't think about it then). If I have a complete copy of the OTT I also have all that made the OTT. If only I could decode that.
What we see in the platform shapes our view of the community. And our view of the community shapes our interactions with it.
Image
And these change the data. And changing the data changes other people's view of the community.
Image
Which affects their interactions with the community. Which changes the data again. Which changes our view of the community, and so on...
Image
That's a feedback loop. That's how an online community goes on.

So "..." is "s", right?
That is very likely the sound Corinne makes when pondering...

And for us "down" south, the days start getting shorter. Kids have to stay up quite late to go before it is dark enough to go out and view the Christmas lights.

I do, but not todip. Circumstances prevent our gathering at this time, so we'll gather when we can. (And let our neighbors ponder why our tree stays up so long.) Hoping that I can get good news about my WFFS before our celebration. Things look good at the moment, but nothing is firm yet.

Todip is MSW's 10th birthdip though, so we'll be celebrating that.

Also, I think this building was prepared for this.
It did not happen accidentally.
Ok, it did. But you know what I mean.
Something here actually performed the actions which resulted in us being here.
Also, how many minutes are we here already?
B: Some.
KXA: Exactly, but we still have air here. My guess is that this place is designed to support human life in such conditions.
