Bin chicken mafia is a go!

Bin Chicken Mafia
Spoiler:
So, I set out to write the day start flavour and the line that came to me right away was "It is the year 2036". I hope you enjoy your gritty post-apocalyptic future bin chicken mafia!

(Town has a cop and doctor and scum has a roleblocker, for those playing at home!)

Bin Chicken Mafia
Spoiler:
Scum once again. Time to PR-hunt.
If any of the players familiar with my style claims that I'm different from usual then my plan is to point to D2 of Shakespeare III where the same was said even though I was Town.

Bin Chicken mafia
Spoiler:
I am a sparrow *tweet tweet*. It sounds like town and sparrow are synonymous in this game? I said I'd be willing to take a mentor only if there are any leftover for those that really want them. Two heads is always better than one. I was secretly hoping Sabrar wouldn't make it into the game so he could be my mentor. I guess I can't have everything.

Bin Chicken
Spoiler:
First time being a cop on this forum. I actually need to be responsible with this! I was kind of hoping I'd be mafia so that my first time as mafia would be in a newbie one, so it wouldn't be so tough, but I guess the same argument works for a cop.

Decided to try playing with a mentor for my first town game. Should be fun.

Mpolo, Sabrar, and Jimbob (and everyone else playing Madge's game) - are you interested in playing in the Xmen mafia game? And if so, can you handle two games at once? Or should I wait a week or two?

Realistically, I don't have time for Turbos now or for the foreseeable future, so no, although if a replacement is urgently required I'll be willing to help.

Yes, anything to give me a greater chance of winning since I' m still on the learning curve.

As I wrote this I was thinking, Sabrar ia probably going to find this sooo scummy. And yet I send it anyways. I get lyched d1 in like 80% of the games I play. *sigh*

Spoiler:
Funny, it never entered my mind to use my question to PR-hunt. For future reference whenever I'm giving advice based on logic it is always correct, even if I'm scum. I expect others to come to similar conclusions and see no need to try and confuse things. Better to earn townie points.

I am going to start the Two Rooms and a Boom game next Monday. Sign-ups will close shortly before the game starts, but I am also going to send PMs to all current sign-ups to confirm their availability. I still plan to run the game to a similar schedule, i.e. turbo-like over the course of a month with successively shortening rounds.

Bin Chicken

Spoiler:
Dethstalker hasn't posted for two days so in light of the lackluster level of activity in Shakespeare I'm giving him a modprod now.

Worried I'm being too strict, but by all accounts he's an experienced mafia player, and hasn't requested a mentor, so I suppose he can handle it.

#yeasuckyweeks! I purposely put my last 6 reads in not my true in order reads from scummy to town. Really some of them should be lumped together. Ihioe the mafia likes that!

If you guys aren't signing up, I'd be curious to know why? Not interested in the flavor? Can't handle two games at once? Something else?

My guess is people just haven't signed up yet but they will.

Bin Chicken Mafia:
Spoiler:
Doctor Dove here (see my breadcrumb in my first post). I'm happy enough that it looks unlikely I'll be killed N1. The question is, who is scum going to kill, and that probably depends on how inexperienced the scum team are. If Sabrar and mpolo, and possibly LaserGuy are not on the scum team, then I'm fairly confident scum will target the towniest-looking player. This is presumably Sabrar, or possibly flicky. My aim with my own answer to Q1 was to try to get scum to second-guess themselves - I deliberately didn't put Sabrar down, so that they might think that any potential doctor will more likely pick one of the people in that list (specifically flicky), so I'm going to be protecting Sabrar tonight.

Bin Chicken Mafia
Spoiler:
jimbob tries to sell very hard the idea that he really didn't look at the setup. There are 3 scenarios:
1. He's telling the truth. Would be extremely uncharacteristic from the jimbob I came to know.
2. He's PR and wants to hide it (after almost hinting at it here). This is very possible.
3. He's VT trying to look like he's PR who wants to hide it. Would be a brilliant play from him, however this also requires a scum player who recognizes the intention.

My first reaction when he initially mentioned this was that he must be VT but now I'm second-guessing myself again which usually (who am I kidding? always) leads me to the wrong conclusion. Still I'm going to play this as if he were PR, very interested to see after the game if I was right.

I'm waiting for two rooms and a boom to be over before I sign up for something else. I'm curious why more people didn't sign up for that one also. Do people not like the game format? Or the turboness of the late game schedule?

2R1B1B

Spoiler:
So i am the target. I just can't let the sniper find me. Also, I was making a list of what each role could potentially claim to be without real apparent negative consequences. Everybody has 4 roles they can claim to be. And in this game you would not want to counterclaim. Nobody wants their role publically known to anyone. With the exception of gambler. Who cares that they known you are gambler? In fact if gambler claims, it makes the game easier for the bomber and sniper, so it actually helps gambler win if he is uses random dumb luck, because he can vote for the bomber to win. Also the gambler can then offer to help either president or bomber to win to help increase his chance of guessing right that they will win.

In conclusion, I am seriously contmeplating claiming gambler. If gambler counterclaims and sniper decides that he isnthe real gambler, decreases my chances of winning, but it would still in no way give up what role I am. In fact, no matter which role i had picked i think I would claim the gambler. I wonder what role people think would benefit most from false claiming gambler? If i were the gambler, id ask that question and then then claim.

Spoiler:
Well, Heuristically Alone is missing the fact that sniper can shoot into the other room. That means he's not sniper, and I get a feeling he is not decoy as that role seems like the hardest to win as. He's likely the target, but might be the president. I'm so tempted to correct him, but I should really wait for Madge's reply to see how she reacts.

What I need are trustworthy allies. Grey's who will vote to help me at the end game in exchange for me helping them win. Madge is trustworthy, so here's hoping she isn't the president and I can form a good relationship with her.

Dear spectator, I expect you've deduced my role by the time you read this sentence.

Sorry, I ended up watching too much Designated Survivor last night and going straight to bed. I've put Day 2 up now.

Aside: Designated Survivor is a really fun show. I now want to make a mafia setup based on it. Except I haven't seen enough of it to really know what's going on (I think we've seen like 17 of the episodes?)

Spoiler:
Also, Jbby got replaced by dimochka during the night, and dim asked for another 12 hours. I feel bad manipulating the game like that, but mafia without night chat is really losing one of their main advantages. I hope it doesn't make me a bad mod / person :|

And I posted in the thread saying Dim said he might not be able to post until Wednesday: that's true. Dim said that to me when I asked him to replace before he knew he'd be replacing a mafioso.

Well so much for alliance with Madge. Madge is only aligned with chaos and drama. So how to keep her entertained the most...
I didn't care about screwing over the team I originally sided with if it meant I was going to win.

I like FUN and DARING ESCAPADES in general though. I think as gambler I tried to get the team I wasn't sided with to do something daring and would side with them in exchange.
