I've been considering running a Small with:
5 named townies
1 rolename cop OR 1 shrink (neither have safe-claims)
1 cult recruiter (investigation reveals safe-claim)
OP will contain a list of 7 names which are randomly distributed.
Players will be told the rolename of the culted player each morning.
The D1 lynch roleblocks instead of killing.
I may let the town PR decide which power to take, or decide before the game but leave it ambiguous.
Any suggestions on balance, breakability, FUN?
Ah, sorry. Shrink prevents their target from being recruited for a night and can self-target. Yes, one of the names isn't used.
Seems very swingy, as basically town have to get the cult recruiter D1 or D2
D2 with a mis lynch would be 2 cult 4 town and lylo
But of course if cult gets lynched D1 their screwed.
It would be very quick either way!
In terms of game breaking, the way I see it is you force a D1 mass claim which will give you 6 named players and the town PR as unamed (assuming I have read the setup right).
That way unitl you find the cult recruiter you can always lynch the recruited player. Which may make days boring until your down to 1 vs 2.
