Having posting trouble. Sorry if this turns out to be a triple post:

Sabrar wrote:BoomFrog expected to be blocked. Cynical view says that he told you to distance yourself from him early D2 if no kill happens.
Really? You're going to use a statement he made on D2 after the claims to argue that? Also, I'd have had to write up that entire conclusion in 20 minutes, having just got home from work and when cooking dinner. This is stretching it a bit. But whatever, I'm shouting into the wind.

Unvote
Vote Sabrar

Yes this is largely OMGUS, but I don't have anything else to go on. No, I don't expect it'll make any difference, and I'll even self-hammer once others have made contributions and people have actually bothered to respond to my request for a plan for my post-lynch Town flip (I may do this last bit myself at some point).

That would have required me to prepare two different versions, one of which would definitely have been thrown away. That's wasted effort, especially when I've had very limited time. I would have been far more likely to write the conclusion later on when I had time, as there was hardly a need to get it out of the door immediately.

The need was exactly what you described to 'prove' yourself, to get it out before the roleblock claim happens.

jimbob is getting very grouchy for what looks like a sure town win.

I can hammer if people are okay with it.

I'm grouchy because people are actively ignoring my requests and are dead set that I'm scum when I'm not. I'm not as confident as you are that it's a certain town win either.

The heroes crowd into the room, dragging behind them an older man in a sharp blue suit.

"Who is this?" asked the Mayor.

"Who decided you should be allowed to speak?" interrupted the man curtly.

"I am the Mayor, I decide when I can speak," the Mayor replied slowly.

"Wrong! I am the decider! I get to decide. And I have decided you do not get to speak!" roared the man.

"You're clearly crazy," replied the Mayor.

"SILENCE! I have decided!"

"And I have decided that you need a trip to Mahkra Asylum," responded the Mayor. "Take him away."

Looking that the diminished ranks of the heroes, the Mayor frowns, "Is there still more crime out there? I think there may be. You'd better go back out."

jimbobmacdoodle was lynched. He was the Decider, aligned with Town.

Role PM:
Spoiler:
The Decider

You know what the problem with this town is? Nobody decides anything. Should the street lights go upwards or sideways? Do we need more schools or more police? Should taxes go up or down? Nobody can decide. Well, that’s where you come in. You might not know much about anything, but you know how to decide stuff really well. For example: The lights should go diagonal. We need more police schools. Taxes should go down on workdays and up on weekends. Easy.

Powers:
Only those two: During the day phase, say “I choose <X> and <Y>” for any two players (except yourself). The votals will be reset and players may only choose to vote between the two selected players. This is a one shot ability.

Not this one: During the day phase, say “You can’t choose <X>” for any player (except yourself). This player will be immune to the lynch for the remainder of the day and all of their votes will be unvoted. This is a one shot ability.

Because these are day use abilities, they will be processed as soon as I can get to them. You may wish to PM me or quote me in thread to be sure I see the message. You may not use either of these abilities within 24 hours of the official deadline.

You are Town and win when all anti-Town factions are eliminated.

I have a night result so I wasn't blocked. wam is not a bird, and is a member of the church of moo.

I don't think that the lack of a night kill necessarily clears anyone. Sabrar or I were going to be blocked. Sabrar, moody, or I should have withheld to frame whoever was blocked.

Got to leave for work.

I'm actually more concerned about you tbh. If BoomFrog's N1 kill did not succeed because he targeted moody then you don't have any verified roleblocks.

FMPOV, the only way that wam's revised plan doesn't work is if he's scum, in which case he's done a masterful job despite a meta almost as dodgy as mine. I'm hoping to hear more from bessie.

freezeblade got a cop result on BoomFrog. If BoomFrog targeted moody freezeblade should have had a tracking result.

True, I forgot about that interaction.
My other guess would be that dimochka swapped wam unto BoomFrog and they decided to sacrifice BF to 'confirm' wam. Notice that wam only claimed after freezeblade came out as Cop.

Not how it works. dimochka swapped the targets, not the person doing the targeting. Who could dimochka have swapped with BoomFrog?

I have been pondering wam's and moody’s claims since D3, and I haven’t been able to disprove tham. freezeblade’s N1 target was non-town and Moo, so he must have targeted wam (already Moo), or wam’s target, or someone that started the game as Moo. BoomFrog must be wam’s target or he started the game as Moo, because of his flip.

More in a bit, I've been looking at this for a couple hours, and I'm trying to organize my thoughts. Something I keep coming back to, something that I have been thinking about since D4 and this post, is did if/why did freezeblade target me?

I know how the ability works. wam could have tried to block any of the townie-looking people and dimochka happened to switch them with BoomFrog.

Best guess:
BF starts out as Moo. Tries to kill moody but moody commutes and is an illegal target. BF ends up not visiting anyone, so freezeblade cops him.
dimochka switches X and wam (X could be you, me, freezeblade, etc). wam tries to block X, ends up moo-ing himself.

@wam, moody: please at least give an indication if you're still around. Discussion is essential in this game and it is impossible to have one if people just disappear. I realize that it's the weekend but given the limited amount of content you have to read through it would take 5-10 minutes at most to make a post and let us know your thoughts.
