10,000 pushups

We're a big community. This should be easy.

Basically, just do push-ups, and then add them up to the desired 10,000. It's a little bit of an excuse to actually do something of a workout. You can say you're helping the internet, or something.

Format goes as follows: Original amount, your amount, new total amount. So basically just say how much you did and how much there are now.

To try and GET THIS OFF THE GROUND (LOLOL) I'll start with 10. Now excuse me while I go pass out in the corner.

Egosearch'd. I'll do some push ups when I get home.

For now, 37 + 0 = 37.

I'm so going to confuse this with the 10 000 days of christmas thread...

I did 31.
Previous was 37, so the total is:

68

One hundred forty four gorram pushups

Running total: 408

408 + 10 = 418

I'm always meaning to do more pushups, but I'm usually too lazy.

418 + 50 = 468

That was harder than it should have been :/

I swear to Jesus, you people are way to strong for a community on the internet. You're breaking stereotypes, man!

418 + 11 = 439. Prime or something woo.

418 + 11 =/= 439

418 + 11 = 429

Also, being inhumanly skinny and playing tennis makes pushups easy.

Actual current total is 494, I believe.

Edit: make that 505. 11 push ups should not be that goddamn hard.

505+36=541--prime!

Thanks for auditing the math, Camoninja.

I haven't done pushups in forever... It felt better than I expected.

576+11=587, prime again.

Will this get me into prime physical condition?

Excuse me if I don't believe you, but that just seems like a ridiculous amount of push ups.

Another 60 done, last ten were a bugger.
1000 + 60 = 1060

Excellent! Just found this thread. I used to do 50 every morning but I've been getting a bit slack. (to be honest I've been using the time whilst the kettle boils to check the forum instead). Did 50 this morning, so the total is

1060 + 50 = 1110

Not a prime, but quite pleasing.

Actually, I've just done one more, so

1110 +1 = 1111. Couldn't resist.

(are there extra points for also doing 50 sit-ups and running 6 miles?)

I did 50 yesterday, so 1161. Does it count extra if ten of those were held for 4 seconds?

Okay I tried to crank out another 10 just now, but it seems the 40 I did yesterday really knackered my arms

1234+1 = 1235.

1235+14=1249, prime.

These pushups are making me realize how dirty my floor is. :(

Thanks all for getting me back into this. 50 more (+ 50 sit ups):

1249+50=1299

No idea if it's prime and I can't look it up as I'm on a train.

It's not prime. The digits add up to a multiple of three, so it's a multiple of three.
