I like my tea cups to be "humble." That is, they are "flat", round, and "short." They should also lack a handle, because a handle breaks the symmetry of the round cup and it makes for uneven drinking to use the handle.
There are such tea cups, like Japanese style, but they are just too tall, and I haven't seen any which are glass / transparent.
I incredibly dislike drinking tea from mugs / coffee mugs. They are tall, blunt, crude, and a very inelegant way to drink tea, or for that matter any liquid.
Does anyone have similar opinions on the vessel from which tea should be drunk?
What do you like to drink your tea from?
Why is it hard to find "humble" glass tea cups?

I've seen similar vessels used to serve espresso. Something like this, maybe?

How do you not burn your hand using a cup without a handle?

Double walled cups are naturally insulated.

They look so cool! Have you found any good shop where such cups are to buy?
Re: Why is it hard to find "humble" glass tea cups?
It literally leads to a amazon link, I don't know why you're asking for a shop.
To be honest, why bother with all these fancy 30$ tea cups when they sell coffee mugs for a $1.

Head to your local farmers' market and find the people selling crafts. There should be some very humble mugs (they probably won't be symmetric if you're really into that). Having inexpensive sets of items like mugs makes me uncomfortable - we've only got two mugs that match, the rest are hand-crafted and vary considerably in size and color. I don't really look for higher motives when my first impression is "cheap college student".
You probably won't find hand-blown glass mugs though, if you really are about that see-through.

Edit: Ha totally ignore that, didn't see the 1000 order minimum!

There's a certain amount of freedom involved in cycling: you're self-propelled and decide exactly where to go. If you see something that catches your eye to the left, you can veer off there, which isn't so easy in a car, and you can't cover as much ground walking.
