Spoiler:
200, this is a silly roman numeral system where the order of the letters doesn't matter and most letters are ignored.

Dammit Jim, who decided to put the TIGER and the RABBIT in the same pen?

And where the hell is the HYENA?

Or the GAZELLE for that matter?

And why on earth is pen 4 still empty? I though we agreed to put the RIVER OTTER in there, but it looks like someone put it in pen 6 instead where it got killed by the VIPER.

This is an outrage!

Okay, I'm puzzled by this, why is RIVER OTTER in 6 and not 4? I thought it was in 4.

How else does the ARCTIC FOX get to be in pen number 211?

Spoiler:
The Ancient Romans were very inconsistent with respect to use of subtractive (IV) versus additive (IIII) forms. They might even mix them together in the same documents! There was a slight preference for additive forms, though. If one has to come up with a scheme for grouping scattered numerals, the simplest is to just put the numerals in descending order of value. The Romans might have done the same.

Thanks guys, I thought I had the puzzle as "remove all non-roman numerals to get a number, unless you get something that makes no sense, in such case just add every single element", but I was wrong and it was "remove all non-roman numerals and sum each remaining symbol".
