Mitchell Heisman's Suicide Note

Postby Minty7 » Fri Oct 28, 2011 12:46 am UTC

Has anybody out there read this?

It's a pretty gnarly book, 1,880 pages of nihilism. It actually is a suicide note, some guy wrote this massive diatribe and shot himself on the steps of Harvard Memorial Church. If you haven't read it, I recommend it. I'm about halfway through and it's a very, very important work.

Responses? Anybody have ideas or theories about this book and its premises?

I mean, it's nihilism. If that had turned out to be true we would all have killed ourselves thirty years ago.

I read the first few pages a while back and was rather unimpressed. Maybe I will give it another look, though.
