Last: Third Eye Blind

Haha, I saw them when they swung by Houston with Low v. Diamond last tuesday. Awesome show, small venue. I digged the acoustic chilling on the couch bit.

I was REALLY floored when they did Slow Motion and well over half the crowd was singing along to it. That's a pure word of mouth thing.

Next concert? Dunno yet. Maybe Ottmar Limbert in August.

Last - Jason Mraz sometime like a year or two ago before he got as big as he is now.

Next - Hopefully hopefully the Lady GaGa/Kanye West tour will have some dates near MN cause I would sacrifice any number of young virgin girls to a pagan god to see that show.

Lights is a solo artist that I don't like. But I respect your musical taste only because everyone in my school listens to like two of her songs.

Amanda Palmer in feburary (I think... maybe march?) this year. That was damn awesome, although Opeth last year was great too.

Next: Well, Ben Folds is in Melbourne in September, that's a possibility.

It was great. Reel Big Fish is better at just working the crowd and having fun, but holy shit is Streetlight just plain amazing!

Yeah, Streetlight is the most talented ska band I've ever heard. I saw that same ticket in Milwaukee a few months back, and the Fish sort of phoned it in while Streetlight really showed off. It was great.

Last concert: Just got home from Billy Talent / Rancid / Rise Against.

Awesome show. But, I'm getting too damn old and I'm too out of shape for mosh pits. Every muscle in my body is sore right about now. I'm going to have to literally crawl to my bed at this rate.

Still, awesome show. I wasn't expecting much from Billy Talent as the opener, based off of the album versions of the songs they have on youtube, but they have a TON of energy live, which is useful.

I was never much of an old school punk fan, so I've only heard a few Rancid songs prior to the show, but they put on an excellent show as well.

Maybe I'm biased, but Rise Against put on the best show (as they should, they're the headliner). My only complaint was they stretched out their encores way too long. Some of those songs, they could have put in the first part of the show, before walking off stage for 15 minutes and keeping us waiting. I can't remember exactly, but it was 4 or 5 songs played for encores, two of which were acoustic. They actually stepped off stage in the dark twice to build anticipation. I just don't think that was necessary.

Other than that, a ton of energy, good crowd interaction, a great time.

As for my next concert? Not sure, I rarely have time for concerts anymore. I was lucky enough to be on vacation from work this week.

Woah, there are some great bands and artists in that lineup. I wish I could make it.

My last concert was Mikelangelo and the Black Sea Gentlemen a week ago. They're touring with their new CD 'Dead Men Tell a Thousand Tales', and the venue was a former funeral parlour. Very nice gig. Unexpectedly good supporting act.

Next? I'm rather tempted to see The B52s + The Proclaimers + Mental as Anything in November.

My god. That lineup is THE SEX. I really, really, really, really want to go to an ATP somewhere.

I don't know what my next gig is and this is something which worries me. I want to get my dance on, gosh darnit.

Although, come Autumn, I plan to see The Fiery Furnaces, The Flaming Lips and Grizzly Bear. There's always more tours around wintertime, it seems.
i dare you to take me on...

Oh Christ. I kicked myself when I saw Suicide were performing the first LP at ATP. Several months later it has gotten exponentially better. This is not fair.
