Awesome.

Euros Childs - Siwgr, siwgr, siwgr

I am proud to say that there are five titles on that album which I understand, and this is one of them. "Sugar, sugar, sugar" [meant in the affectionate way, rather than as a sweetener]

By the way, is his name pronounced like a Welsh name or like an English name? Because pronounced as English it's kind of lame.

It should be pronounced as a Welsh name. As far as I understand, that makes it eye-ross in some phonetic sense. Because, yeah, being called "Euros", pronounced a la European currency is lame. Interestingly enough, there were two members of Gorky's Zygotic Mynci with the name Euros.

Also, you might want to check out Zabrinski, who were Gorky's support band for a little while. They're a lot more ambient, but some of the spirit is still there.

AFAICT, then it would be /@irOs xIlds/ or something like it. That's good, that's how I've been pronouncing it all along.

Duly noted.

Now listening to The Olivia Tremor Control - Courtyard. Seriously. OTC is the greatest band ever. I just wish I'd been born ten years earlier so I'd had the chance to get into them when they were still active.

You know that tram really doesn't go to heaven. I've ridden it. It goes past a pretty neat record store though.

You know, I kind of regret not getting on that tram for a bit, but I think there was a good chance I might have got lost. Trams = awesome, though.

And a ridiculously good game. I had it for the Sega Saturn and almost shit myself when I found out they remade it for the Wii.

I'm listening to "Ashita Genki Ni Naare" by Miyavi. (And yes, I probably butchered the spelling of the title, I didn't bother to look. Hush.)
