Reeeeally? Interesting. I'd definitely watch that.

I wonder how much Pullman will be involved. The article didn't say, but instead just quoted Pullman saying he was pleased to see it adapted. So my guess is he'll not be involved much. But he did narrate for the audiobook, so maybe.

Anyway, exciting news.

Pullman was also happy to see it adapted to film the previous time, but then it turned out the story('s criticism on dogma) was heavily diluted. Then again, The Golden Compass was made primarily for an american audience, where it got a lot of controversy regardless, so we may expect this adaptation to be more direct. And less hurried because it's not crammed into two hours. :)
