Oh, this brings back memories. In my case, it usually preceded a thrown grenade, which explodes 2 napalm barrels and activates a neutral land mine, killing two team-mates and seriously wounding a third in the process, eventually resulting in the sum total of 16 damage, spread across 2 enemies. Good times :D

"I'm a soldier, not some love-starved twit," Celes, Final Fantasy VI

"It may not look like it, but it's still a plane. One hit and it's going down," enemy pilot, Ace Combat 4. Something to that effect anyways, I've only heard it once and wasn't paying too much attention to the dialog at the time, due to the fact that I was busy trying not to get hit. I think I was at around 98% damage after having crashed into a tank earlier in the mission.

"My starkest madness seeming is divinest sense." Morrowind, Dreamer.

One scene in Soul Calibur 3
Mitsurugi: "I've had enough already!"
Taki: "Haven't you had enough?!"

Whenever I hear the first line, no matter the context, I'll respond with the second. Same thing with "What happen?" I respond with "Someone set up us the bomb."
No one ever gets it. :(

Sacrifice was filled with great quotes.

One of the best was from the Druid unit, where one of his annoyed messages was "Level 4 druid seeks party for monster hunting." "Will SoW for Clarity"

Total EQ reference.

I'm busy replaying Baldur's Gate 2, and pretty much anything Minsc says makes me think of this thread. (Someone mentioned "anything by Minsc" earlier.) Unfortunately, I don't stop to write down the things he says, leaving me with no examples to give. Until I found BG's Wikiquote page...

Minsc wrote:Butt kicking for goodness!

Shall we go? The butts of evil await my bootprint!

What? Boo is outraged! See his fury! It's small, so look close. Trust me, it's there.

Heh. Whatever party I build, it always has Minsc in it. How could one not keep the gloriously demented fellow around?

Andrew Ryan: What is the difference between a man and a parasite? A man builds. A parasite asks 'Where is my share?' A man creates. A parasite says, 'What will the neighbors think?' A man invents. A parasite says, 'Watch out, or you might tread on the toes of God... '
Andrew Ryan: [to Jack, as he enters Ryan's sanctuary] The assassin has overcome my final line of defense, and now he plans to murder me. In the end what separates a man from a slave? Money? Power? No, a man chooses, and a slave obeys!
[pause]
Andrew Ryan: You think you have memories. A farm. A family. An airplane. A crash. And then this place. Was their really a family? Did that airplane crash, or, was it hijacked? Forced down, forced down by something less than a man, something bred to sleepwalk through life unless activated by a simple phrase, spoken by their kindly master. Come in.
[Jack enters Ryan's layer]
Andrew Ryan: Stop, would you kindly?
[Jack does]
Andrew Ryan: Would you kindly, powerful phrase. Familiar phrase?
[Cascade of memories of Atlas ordering Jack to perform various tasks with the phrase "Would you kindly"]
Andrew Ryan: Sit, would you kindly? Stand, would you kindly? Run! Stop! Turn. Was a man sent to kill, or a slave?
[Ryan hands Jack a golf club]
Andrew Ryan: KILL!
[Jack smacks Ryan with the club]
Andrew Ryan: A man chooses!
[Jack smacks him again]
Andrew Ryan: A slave obeys!
[Jack smacks him again]
Andrew Ryan: OBEEEEEEY!
[Jack kills Ryan]

Dragonage has been supplying some really fantastic game quotes of late.

from Sten:

Jade Empire definitely had some of the best evil dialog options I've seen.

"This is melodrama... I prefer tragedy, DIE!"

"Oh, I see where this is going, now I'm going to have to kill both of you!"

The character I chose would scream, during battle, "DIE QUIETLY!" and it never failed to make me laugh.
Yeah, she's going about slaughtering everything in site, putting all these creatures through immeasurable pain and she has the audacity to tell them to shut up as they bleed to death. Gotta love her. Come to think of it, a lot of what made Jade Empire good was the awesome dialogue menus.

Jade Empire's dialog was plagued by the same problem as most of Bioware's games. The dialog options are almost always good guy and good guy that is an asshole. The asshole options are amusing to look at, though.

I didn't get very far in yet, but there seemed to be a lot of options like "@Badguy You are weak and stupid. I shall slay thee." vs. "Stop! You don't have to do this" or "@QuestGiver: GIVE ME THE MONEY" vs. "Keep it. You need it more than I." There were a few that had threatening good guys, and spitting in people's faces, but mostly it the feel I got from it was what I said. That might be because the options you're talking about appear later in the game, though. It wasn't as bad as Mass Effect in that regard, though.
