because i haven't posted pictures here in a while, its a me, on a chair lift at Mt. Bachelor in Oregon, and a few months ago at a shakespeare reading in Alaska in which i reside. i also fall into the unattractive 5-10 percent of the picture posters on this forum.

Capoeira is a great martial art, for what it was designed for. The problem is "what it was designed for" is "not looking like fighting if viewed from a distance, and the other guy has to adhere to that too". When it comes up against arts that don't have that particular ridiculous limitation, it tends to get maimed.

Obviously you haven't seen Tony Jaa's "The Protector" which has the most badass fight scenes you will ever see in a kung fu movie. Including a capoeira fight scene.

Yes. In Movieland, it's useful. You can also run on water at a leisurely pace in movieland.
