Youtube Poop

Postby Game_boy » Wed Jun 25, 2008 1:22 pm UTC

Youtube Poop is a genre of video that involves randomly remixing Youtube videos in a stupid, funny or annoying way. The most commonly used clips are the superbly awful CD-i Mario and Zelda games, the Mario and Pokémon anime, This is Sparta, the Volvic Revive volcano and famous movie quotes.

The constant reuse of these clips is extremely funny - I have spent hours watching videos of it on Youtube. It can be found by searching for Youtube Poop or YTP on Youtube:

http://youtube.com/results?search_query ... type=&aq=f

--

There are numerous other people who make good series of Youtube Poop; two of them can be found at the links below:

Madpilot86: http://youtube.com/user/Madpilot86

XMHunter: http://youtube.com/user/XMHunter

--

I have made quite a few too, though I haven't got an idea whether they are funny or not.

http://youtube.com/user/StealthedGameboy

Grab Life By The Toasters Series: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p ... F24CC86805

Ash Goes On Holiday Series: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p ... F828D676E2

Ultimate Poop: http://youtube.com/watch?v=B4kh9HsnJGg

Please tell me what you think.

If anyone else is interested in making them, I have a self-made repository of clips from all of the media used that I can upload if anyone else is interested.

Its an ABC News report and quite interesting. I'd like to see the raw footage though, to guage how many people reacted in one way or another.

Nah i google translated the site, its just some site promoting internet security. Probably some forum the poster is part of. I think the more informative translation would be the comments on the video

Edit : i google translated the video page and from what i gathered the video was taken in some exclusion zone in chernobyl by patrol helicopters. And the video title is something along the lines of " Attack by the unknown stalkera " hmmm anyone else have any ideas? Russian xkcd readers?

Edit edit : Ok i must be the biggest idiot in the world right now.... video was for promoting S.T.A.L.K.E.R : shadow of chernobyl..... can we talk about like moments or binomial theorem or something.... makes me feel my IQ is higher than 2 digits.... >.<

Saw this and thought it was pretty good. Wrestlers ask for a chair and the audience takes it a bit too far in answering their request.

ECW was crazy. But that was so dangerous. I was talking to Foley about it when he was brought over for a show and apparently it's one of the scariest things that's happened to him in a wrestling ring.

On a sidenote: I hate crowds who can't behave themselves.
