Ok, forum, prepare for boarders! Randy put the forum up there in the red text, so we need to build barricades fast! Before they get in!

I put a link to the forum in the red text notification area on the main page, so there are a handful of new people who hadn't noticed it before.

Yeah. You can always tell the fools from the brilliant minds by which science they study. (biology retards, i'm talking to you. physics and mathematics, respek)

Well and if they aren't a scientist, I mean, you know, food service is a noble profession too...

Hey, you two are welcome to keep arguing. We engineers will be over there, accomplishing something useful. (Except the civil engineers: they'll be digging holes or something.)

Hey, ENGINEER.

Immunology :O
Genetics :O
Neuroscience :O
Toxicology :O
Microbiology :O

Biologists are the reason you can drink alcohol too. :O

Go back to writing 'boobies' (5318008) on your calculators and building bridges of an acceptable structural standard, allowing easier travel and thusly increasing the trade and tourism of an area.

Haha, engineers...

I beat you all with my ability to study useless things with my combined English Literature/Film Studies.

Sadly, I learned the error of my ways far too late in life and am now reduced to working in a supermarket while trying to become a famous writer. I occasionally paw through a NewScientist magazine and cry over the job advertisements in the final pages. High entry-level paycheques.

Encylopedia Brown realized Jesster was lying about his English Lit major due to his misspelling of the word "paychecks."

In other news, howdy, I'm new here. I used to study physics, and now study economics. I like it because it's not as squishy a social science as sociology or nonbiological psychology.

I think that economics is the most intellectually frightening study in all of academia.

See, you're looking to the civil engineers, silly scientist. Just see how far you advance in genetics, microbiology, or the lot without modern electronic equipment. (Most of which, we stole from the physicists.) I was going to say you'd be back to counting Drosophila by hand, but some things never change.

In another life, I'd be a physicist. Everything comes back to physics. And b00b1e5. (Real geeks use hexidecimal.) And the physics of b00b1e5.

How so? I am intrigued by the "frightening" descriptor.

Large and complicated.

Try me in the morning and I might be able to talk more coherently :)
