I'm bloody still alive.

I was convinced, as a child, that I wouldn't live past 25. I did.

I was convinced, somewhat later, that I would never make it to 40. I did.

Bloody hell, I'm still alive. And I show no (well, few) signs of stopping anytime soon. Now it's 60 that I'm sure I'll never reach.

Time to start the retirement savings and the health-building in earnest, I guess. History has so far proven me wrong on all these hunches.

I'm listening to the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann soundtrack and it is awesome, much like the series (gotta keep with tradition, right?).

Spoofs make the world awesome. Especially classical music spoofs, because... it lends itself to massive spoofing.

TED talks are awesome too.

reading this thread should be mandatory to anyone depressed :)

Life is friggin awesome in so many ways....first of all, you have the SUN....I mean, it RISES!!! and it SETS!!!....how awesome is that....

The sun is AWESOME!!!

Charly García is Awesome too!!!! He the greatest argentinian musician ever, he was awesome in the 70s-80s...and altough he kept being awesome in the 90s, drugs didn't help...but recently he got clean, and now he is back!!! And I, went to see him!!! (Im 19, I never had a chance to see him before) AND IT RAINED LIKE HELL. It was a huge storm, there was water everywhere, we were all wet and ........IT WAS AWESOME!!!! (the concert was at a soccer stadium-which by the way is the real football)

Rain is awesome too!!!

Costco is awesome. Wireless routers, DVDs of shows, and all the food for thanksgiving in one place. How can you not love that?

Also, I was driving to the airport today and saw a big jet taking off, which reminded me: airplanes are awesome. Not just "awesome" as in "cool", but "awesome" as in "inspiring awe". There is something incredible about seeing a shining metal behemoth just lift off the ground and hang in the air like gravity means nothing (illusion enhanced by distance and a turn making the airplane look like it was sitting still in the air). It happens all the time, but if you take the time to watch it happen, it is just so awesome.

Yeah! I love it when it rains, I always get happy, and when it's time to sleep and it's raining, I just go ZZZzzz instantly.

I do like her voice, a few weeks ago I listened to one of her songs, 'Eet', really nice (although it's quite a sad song).

Cats are also awesome! We have three cats at home, and it's always busy. They're often running around and playing and teasing each other, and when they're not they just go sleep like a fuzzy ball, so cute (>^___^<)

I didn't consume my thanksgiving dinner through a tube this year, which made me realize how awesome being tube fed is. This is two awesome things total.

I also like living in a place with all 4 seasons in spades.

Giving blood is awesome. Think about it: you're giving up some of what you need so that someone else will not die. Plus, hey, free snacks! I especially liked being in a room full of very nice people. And I don't mean that sickly sweet niceness you get in grocery stores around Christmas time, my experience with giving blood was with a room full of genuinely nice, happy people.

Alliteration is also awesome.

I agree with this post so hard. People who work in blood banks are awesome, and donating blood is awesome. Everyone should do it and be awesome.

But I had two false positive hep tests, so I'm not allowed to donate ever again :( This is not awesome, and I suppose therefore doesn't belong in this thread...
