I am happy because it just re-occurred (if that's a word, which I'm sure it isn't), to me that I am extremely priveledged. (:

Bacon, BBQ sauce, cheese, onions, and pickles on a chicken sandwich, plus fries, plus drink, for $2.99?

Wendy's, I tip my hat to you. You have officially won the value menu forever.

(Thank goodness I didn't buy that keyfob you offer for a $1 donation to a local charity in exchange for free Jr. Frostys until the end of the year. I'd probably due from obesity by August.)

Two weeks of endless room searching in Hawaii have paid off*. Obstructed Oceanview, here I come!**
*Technically, my parental unit paid for it, but I was the one who spent my time waiting until midnight for the booking site to refresh.
**Well, in five weeks.

Between finally finding a Spanish-French(-Catalan-Italian-Portuguese) verb conjugation table/ other grammar guides of the sort and getting my really cool and shiny Maths textbook in the mail, I'm really freaking ecstatic.

Pretty much.

I'm only taking algebra/trig-based physics at school and the relationship between the formulas hadn't been touched upon much. They were just thrown out there. I downloaded this lecture series and started watching it -- the relationship between things now makes so much more sense.

A week from today I will have spent two years dating the most wonderful woman I have ever met. She is intelligent, smart, funny, beautiful inside and out, the most caring and giving person I have ever met, and for some reason she loves me. She is not perfect, but she is perfect for me- we have had fights, even broken up, but she is more important to me than anything this world has to offer, and we always place each other first. We are both who the other wants to spend the rest of our lives with. We're not getting married until after college, and not getting engaged until it is prudent, but it will happen. She is why I'm happy, that while I try really hard to love her and support her and give her everything that I am, I still don't deserve a girl as incredible as her, but she loves me. Despite my faults and failures, which are and have been large and numerous, she loves me. And at random and frequent times throughout the day, it just overwhelms me with how much I love this girl, and how blessed I am to call her mine. She has seen this happen, and doesn't understand why I'm suddenly so excited or passionate or whichever way it manifests. But she does understand, because I know that's the exact same way she feels about me. That's why I'm happy.

Thread needs a-bumpin', so here goes.

I got switched out of my old math class today and into a far less horrible one. Might be a lot happier in the short-term. Additionally, I'm starting to realise the value in thinking about life in terms of the present - though I'm making long-term plans, being cogent of and (especially) tolerant of the issues and such I'm facing right now increases the likelihood of those long-term plans working out.

tl;dr: Fuck school, but at least I'll be slightly less annoyed at it due to recent events.

I'm going back to D.C in two days! I get to escape this shit hole for a while, go to a (faux? We'll see)-political rally, hang out with some amazing Queer activists I haven't seen since the national equality march, and get fucking hammered at some of D.C's awesome gay clubs.

I am absurdly excited by this. Five days down there is not long enough.

I'm happy because when I wrote my crib sheet for my Heat Transfer test today, I wrote the solutions for a few problems so hopefully they could cumulatively help me with the test. Well, one of the test questions was exactly the same as a problem I wrote down. I'm so happy, this class has been a huge struggle and I needed a break.

Engineering Science. I didn't post that before because I'm not sure if it's the same thing where you guys live.
During today's study orientation I had to keep myself from standing up and exclaiming that this subject is pure awesomeness. It's exactly what I had been looking for.

Much envy here. I haven't managed to find a course that matches what I what I looked for. Even though I'm not quite sure where I was looking for. Good luck with studying. :D
