Uhhh guys.... you're doing it wrong. The the X,K and C are capitals and d is small.... but the same size as the capitals. WTF? It should all be lower case surely? If someone extends the K with a line above to make it a small k, and makes the d twice the size, then the X and C will become small letters. Plus the logo will double in size.

Might have to re-do the rest of the logo because we may not be able to get the k to fit.

I think we're going to sort of ignore the small one and make a ginormous one that can be seen from SPACE!
er, at least from 0% zoom.
Also, new linky: http://www.drawball.com/4iqtp4z
This includes both the smaller and larger one.

Randomness: I was wondering why Firefox complained about the spelling of "ginormous", then I was like, "....oh yeah. Not actually a word."
Um, "Firefox" isn't in the Fx dictionary? What the hell?

thank you. I love you too. Like the styling?
EDIT: oh, *that* xkcd.
I put "www.xkcd.com" in the middle, pretty tiny, just so that people who happened to be looking at the exact center would see it.
Someone else added the huge one...

EDIT2: I tried to turn the "?" in Anonymous' face into a kick ass-smiley but the *channers stopped me.
oh wellz.

EDIT 2b: here's a pic. You can already see *chan erasing Mr. Happy Face.

It needs to be neater, and it shouldn't just be four big black letters. The characters and comics should be drawn around it, and in it, that's what made makes the old logo cool. You can even do drawings inside the big letters. Tesla coil man is white on black, you could draw the universe and end it with a close-paren,
I'm waiting for 100% ink before doing any major modifications to the big logo. I may scribble some comic characters here and there though.

BTW, the large white line we're trying to draw the large logo over seems to be defended.

There's no reason we can't keep both the big xkcd and the small xkcd. I've been working on both. I like the little one more, though.

Edit: this is so much fun!I enjoy fighting vandals for control of a space.

I think we should just keep expanding the white borders on the small xkcd and when it gets big enough then make the letters a bit bigger and keep most of the art and the art that gets erased can be drawn back in.

Or just expand the borders, and keep drawing pictures, while keeping the small logo as the center.

Guys, lets work on improving the edges of the letters so it looks professional. How to make straight edges:

Put the mouse at the start of the intended line.
Left click and hold it.
Right click.
Move the mouse to the end point of your intended line.
Left click (don't hold it).
Enjoy your straight line!

To make lines that extend beyond one circle (for giant letters etc) consider putting tape markers on your screen so that you can maintain a constant slope along the edges of the X, for example.

GTFO

Postby Bigwhiteline » Tue Jun 24, 2008 10:46 pm UTC

Hello. We are the people drawing the "big white line", as you disrespectfully call it. It is a niggerbeam and we have been drawing it for quite some time now. We have had to deal with a lot of vandalism, but we have dealt with it, and we will deal with any in our future. We have even had to destroy a few drawings completely, to prevent them from coming back.

Despite your blasphemy of spending the precious ink on things other than the shoop, I do not see why we cannot co-exist peacefully. However, if you continue disrupting the holy beam, we will be forced to take action.

I am a xkcd reader, by the way, and thus I recognize the xkcd references. We will destroy all of them that we can find, if you do not stop vandalizing our shoop.

For the shoop!

It's the first one, Ramses. I believe the big white line is part of a picture of a mouth firing a laser. The mouth is on the far left of the drawball. It's an icon of one of the chans, if I remember correctly.
