Oh, also, a Confession: I hate deep's title, because it mentions p*a*u*-butt**. I hate the stuff. Deep's a nice enough person, no offence meant (and hopefully none taken - saying 'no offence meant' whilst clearly giving offence is [misc. expletive], so I try not to), but I'd hate your title.

EDIT: I hate ninjas.

EDIT2: I like ninjas. They got me at the top of a page, wooo!

Because spam is so delectable a foodstuff?

Good point, cara, but I'm not against most of the world when I say that spam is just stuff posing as meat. They hate the stuff, too.
There are a lot of people who think I should like peanut butter, though.

Also, PB doesn't describe what I'm best known around here for having done.

I have a scar on my forehead from when a 9-year-old me got too close to something potentially dangerous without regard for the possibility of head-splitting.

I have not learned my lesson from this.

Confession: I went to pick up my second last paycheck today (They didn't pay me all my monies in my other "Last Paycheck"), and then I walked into the casino and proceeded to win 50 dollars in cash monies! After this I went to visit some of the people that I used to work with and got a phone number from a girl in Accounts Payable.

Confession 2: About two weeks ago, I told some people about my previous manager's penchant for lying about EVERYTHING, and they're now doing everything they can to catch him in these lies. They all hate him and want to get him fired.

Confession 3: My thumb was cut off and sewn back on. It caused a badass scar that I have been able to exploit. It's a great conversation piece, and has gotten me many dates.
Compromise: Lowering my standards so you can meet them.

Neat! and painful.

@Prole: I used to work construction, and its always kinda weird to look down and see your fingers fractions of an inch from a rotating saw blade. I've had a "what the hell am I doing" moment while lopping off truss overhangs on a roof three stories above the ground. Certainly made the job interesting.

#1: I worked very hard for the first 6 hours of my work day, now I'm going to relax a little ; )

I am in a book-mood. I even found a link listing several book clubs and what they were reading next. Seems I just missed a lot of November stuff but December is coming up, so no biggie. I have a dual-sided opinion about the whole thing. I find it a good source for new books that are decent (hopefully) but I can also read them in my own time at home, and not have to deal with snarky strangers.

I need a private bookclub : P with like... me and one or two other friends.

#2: Got in a "fight" with my roommate this weekend about the money I owe her. I'm almost caught up, after being behind quite a lot in rent, and will be fully paid off on Friday when I get paid. This is great news! (Having 3 jobs DOES pay off!) And I told her as much, but here's what we fought about: I'm an insensitive selfish girl (apparently this is true, I found evidence) who just wanted to buy guitar hero 3 on my day off yesterday. I had enough extra money to afford a video game ($50-$60 I assume) but not enough to pay her back in full (bout $320), but I get paid Friday and I wanted the game now.

I fail to see how me buying a game before or after Friday would change the fact that no matter what, she is still getting her money on Friday. I see it in a kind of insensitive mathematical kind of way, and she sees it as a big slap in the face. go figure.

We've reconciled a little bit at least, mostly through long emails to each other yesterday, where we finally explained our separate points of view so we both understand where the other person is coming from a bit better. (I still would have bought the game if I knew it wouldn't upset her so much, so I consider that as me being super sensitive. It's still me being an insensitive selfish limited-materialist-style-asshole, but in a slightly nicer way than it would be if I just disregarded her feelings altogether.)

Here's a warning I should've given you before you signed up here - Objectivism is not looked kindly upon. However, provided you can refrain from alienating people or actively pissing them off, you might be able to have some interesting conversation.

I think the Serious Business area is a much better place to throw in bits and pieces of Objectivism, if you really want to argue it (but don't make it out of context, seriously)

My fiance can't quite squeak past medium either. I can finish all but the Slayer song and One on the last tier of Hard, and can play up to the first guitar battle on expert.

As it gets past the first few levels of Hard, though, it's less about skill and more about blind-luck star powering my way through >_<

When we unlocked Dragonforce on medium, I think I got carpal tunnel syndrome just looking at it.
