Latest purchase thread.

Postby Quadropus » Sun Feb 17, 2008 3:38 pm UTC

Ok so I got the idea for this on another forum and it seemed quite fun.
So, post the last thing you bought.

For me, it was a can of compressed air and a really really small screwdriver set so I can clean my keyboard.

Post away my pretties....

A gift card for a friend's birthday present. Although after I got the party, I'm not sure I was expected to get her anything at all, so I'm glad it was (physically) small.
There's a method to my madness. Somewhere. Don't worry, I'll find it!

Top Gear Magazine.

But the last quality (ish) purchase I made was a pair of Sony earbuds with 16mm drivers and stupidly strong magnets.
Anything I said pre-2014 that you want to quote me on, just run it past me to check I still agree with myself.

A pair of heavy duty black shoes from a thrift store. I'm taking a trip, and I need to put something nonslippery on my feet.

A new mouse for my laptop, after taking apart my old one (can't remember why) and breaking something off it which prevented me putting it back together again. I seem to do stuff like this a lot.

The last thing I bought me was some black & orange tights, black & fuschia tights, some Over-the-knee rainbow-striped socks, "ice-cream socks", and some socks a varity of dots on them.

Last thing before that, though, was a couple of LPs.
I turned my smilies off.

The Mutants and Masterminds 2E handbook, and a monster movie entitled "Octopus 2: River of Fear."

It's the kind of movie that isn't even scary when you watch it at 2 in the morning when you're buzzed on caffeine, and less so at three in the afternoon.

If you don't count grocery shopping (because it is boring) then it was the following albums:
Sam's Town by the Killers
01. Outside by David Bowie
The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails
Cardia by Cardia
Changesbowie by David Bowie

I consider it a good trip to the Graywhale.
I have nothing to offer anybody except my own confusion.
And some old pictures.

2x 160gb hard disks for raid 0, which I've setup everything on, but haven't got around to transferring bookmarks and FF plugins (i.e. The hdds are being wasted atm).
1x Cherry G85-23000GB keyboard. A low profile keyboard with standard layout... it was actually pretty hard to find something so similar to just what I was looking for.

Last thing I bought was a round of drinks.

Ask me again in about 2 hours and the "last thing I bought" will probably have been this:

I wish my last purchases were alcohol-related. Alas.

My last purchase was a piece of paper which states "OMGLOL you paid $1800 this month to go to class!"
And I get to buy another one next month too!

This is so true, the sneaking game is amazing, especially when your friend ends up with ASDA value macaroni in a tin, or cheese in a squeezy bottle :s

My last purchase was Devil May Cry 4.

It's not that my car eats through gas, it's that I don't buy things.
