Post them here! Add the file as an attatchment/implanted image, please, so that they stay here whenever you revert back to your 'old' one. Here's mine:

EDIT3: Oh well, only to be expected...

EDIT: I've fix'd the bauble on the hat, because I missed it when adding shadow under the rim.
EDIT2: Fix'd thread title too, as there are several people with avatars that do not contain a red/white hat, but are still appropriate to the time of year.

Made with Photoshop while I was supposed to be working on Christmas banners for work... lol.

Santa hat stolen from Google Image Search.

Confession: I'm not happy with the shadow between his hand and the hat... too neat, too uniform... looks fake. But then I'm never happy with a piece of artwork...

I'm a bit embarrassed about this, but I haven't the faintest clue how to edit an animated image. >_< This was given to me by my brother.

Edit: I'm not sure if I'd add a santa hat or reindeer antlers...

I didn't spend too long, and it's kinda hard because my cow doesn't quite have a head to attach a hat to.

Tell me which you would like (I think reindeer antlers would be funnier, but possibly not as recognizably "Christmas-y") and I'll edit for you... btw I've always loved your avatar... making cthulu cute is one of my favorite past-times.

You, sir, are lovely. :) I'd definitely go with the reindeer antlers, it seems to work better.

I figured a Santa hat would be difficult to fit to a Hornet, so I'm using the same one as last year (ohgodi'vebeenhereforoverayear), which is SUPERSONIC SANTA.

But, meh, it's only six days till christmas and Mr. Bateman with a chainsaw is just... Mr. Bateman with a chainsaw... so... I'll change it.

I'm not really sure how to change mine to give Alan a hat (as it's animated) so assistance would be appreciated, I guess. I'm gonna give it shot once I get home but I don't really know where to start. I plan to open it in GIMP and (assuming it works the way I think it does) edit the layers to add in the Santa hat. If it doesn't work like that please correct me so I don't waste lots of time...

Since mine's made out of snow, I guess it's always been seasonal. If someone else wants to Fix it to make it even more so, I might use that, but I'm not going to go to the trouble of putting a hat on it myself.

Well, I tried to edit a Santa hat into the winking gif, but GIMP didn't want to respect the white/red colors I wanted to use (made them much more red than I wanted, and I couldn't find a way to make it behave), so I have a new avatar I ripped fresh from an episode of Boston Legal (Season 1, ep 8, "Loose Lips").

I don't know if I'll use it yet and I don't know how Randall feels about people manipulating his stick men. Its not really obvious but the white strip along the bottom of it does have a bit of fluffiness to it and you've got to admit, a scientist would be able to make the hat stand up all the time ;)

I call dibs, but this will take a while, as I'm adding a bow and not a hat that might seem out of place. It should convey the point, though.
