Clever spambots too - it can take a minute or two to realise it's a bot. How long until a spam bot can pass a turing test I wonder?

Does that mean the bot is clever, that the average poster isn't?

I think some of the new spammers are kinda cute. "Thank you for the good informations" makes me smile, at least.

That IS really cute. :) Although I'm wondering: which spambot said that?

Someone should figure out how much various services would cost if they were charged per character, similarly to text messages.

I reluctantly reported them. Guessing that they're gone. I think it was in one of the gaming recommendation threads. There was one in the poetry thread, too, offering encouragement.

Offering encouragement? How?

I got 99 problems, but briquettes ain't one"

Actually, yes. I have found I sleep a bit better in a made bed. If I just jump into bed with the covers messed up, I tend to toss and turn a bit more because of uneven heating/cooling, parts sticking out, etc. Then again, that doesn't mean you have to make your bed, just that you should straighten the covers before going to bed.

That word only exists in simple English wikipedia, though. It's essentially Buffy speak.

String theory is the theory of the chaos of strings. It states that whenever you put a set of perfectly arranged strings in any container, they will come out completely tangled, no matter what the arragement or the container. This relates to everything, excluding yarn, such as: iPod headphones, Christmas Tree Lights, garden hoses, electric cords, shoelaces, horse intestines, and the area behind your computer desk.

Also, a string is always(almost) twice as long as a half piece of string. Except if the string is made of cheese, then results may differ.

You, sir, name? wrote:Dear FRT, Is there any reason to make your bed, other than purely aesthetic ones?

Throughout the course of the day, I usually end up setting a lot of stuff on my bed, effectively turning it into a makeshift shelf/table, so I prefer to make my bed in the morning so that if I do set something down on my bed, small objects don't get hidden under the sheets.

Also, if I'm taking a short nap, I prefer to sleep on top of the sheets instead of under the covers.

Surely you meant to link here. Though for that particular video, this is almost more amusing.

Sometimes, the stupidity of my thoughts make me wonder why they let me into university.

How cool (or warm...) would it be if the equator was literally the divide between seasons etc. Summer on one side, winter on the other. Oh man, it would be so amazing to live near there. Getting a bit hot for you? Not a problem! Let's go for a walk down the road and visit winter for a while! Or even better, have a house built right over the equator. Oh man, now the only decision would be which room should go on which side. Naturally, I would put all the frequently used rooms on the winter side. But hey, warmth is nice sometimes too :D

Hahaha they would get their run too, of course :D I'm just thinking about winter/summer cos they're here at the moment. Actually, that would be quite nice. Two extremes for half the year, then two more relaxing, mediocre temperatures for half a year. Yay!

Oh man, if my body decided to get sick, I would get payback on it by screwing around with it, sitting in half snow half sun for hours  Cos that would be a totally logical thing to do, of course =P

Haha, totally logical.

I bet we'd get sick a lot though, because our bodies would fail in adjusting to the random temprature switches.

Seriously, I'd be awesome. You could have a snowball fight in your shorts and nearly freeze to dead, then right after that go swimming at the summer side and ohmygod that would feel so nice <3. ( I think I'm rambling a bit... )
