Not so much a random/fleeting thought as a thing, but I could not think of a single place on the fora this should go instead. Not really worth making a new topic in News & Articles for.

Anyhoo. Gotta love it when xkcd memes spread accross the interwebs.

Responses for things 1-3 pages back:

Elbow-licking: Yay, more people like me that can lick their elbow!

Ground rainbows: Ugh. I saw that video over the weekend. I died a little lot inside.

Also, played The Game of Redneck Life. I think I mentioned it a ways up the thread. Regardless, it was awesome. The point of the game is to have the most teeth remaining at the end of the game. My wife wrote up a post about our first play experience from last night, here.

All of my friends think my knitting is really cool. And if someone doesn't I just explain to them what I'm making.
“Whatcha making Grandma?”
“You ever played Starcraft? No. Well, it’s an RTS released by Blizzard games in 1998. One of the Terran units is a Siegetank, it’s produced at the factory with attached machine shop. That is what I’m making. It’s currently in tank mode, and yes, yes I am gonna charge the guy I’m making it for 100 minerals, 150 vespene gas and 2 little men. Next I plan to make a monster truck, an A380 Airbus, a weighted companion cube and an aircraft carrier. Any other questions?”

Yeah, I used to get embarrassed too. You might get over it like me. Or you might remain a closet knitter for the rest of your life. There's no other option.

I'll not ask for names, but it fascinates me that there is gossip (of sorts) going on on the fora. People talking about third parties to each other!
