Reaper Bolt Throwers are supposed to be very affective. Although in the previous 5 battles, 5 shades in one battle proved more affective than a battery of two of them big bulky crossbows. And yes, executioners are very cool BUT, they're expensive at 12 points per model. Your enemy will also realise they are very deadly, and thus the unit attracts lots of missile fire, so you need a large unit of them to assure they get into combat without running of the battlefield. (Plus, I would have to buy executioners :o . I just have every other unit.)
And I have NO character issues: my assassin makes short work of them: WS9, Always Strikes First, Poisoned attacks, 4+D3 attacks at str 4 and eternal Hatred (re-roll missed to-hit rolls in the first round of combat). I should be fine.

Explain yourself!
(Also, in larger battles (i.e. 1,500-2,000) I tend to use Dark Riders as well, plus I equip my shades with great weapons (high strenght hits WS5? Pretty cool), and use a unit of 9 instead of 5. 18 armourpiercing str3 shots with BS5 is pretty neat, especially when in short range.

What about Sean Penn?

According to the list on Wikipedia, I haven't seen any of his films. Huh. No wonder I could never figure out why he was famous.

I've had about 6 hours' good sleep since Thursday. This is Not A Good Thing.

I also have a fairly evil cough, which is why I've not been getting to sleep. That and the staying up until 5:30am bantering... but I'm of the opinion that if I had gone to bed at midnight that night, I'd've still not slept a wink.

I've had dreams where I'm incredibly drunk. Like, blacking-out drunk. I vaguely remember it being stressful because I was trying to go somewhere or do something and I couldn't because I was so drunk.

Have you had a lot of experience being drunk? Maybe your psyche doesn't have enough reference material?

Traced through the code last night to find the display list pointer locations are (like everything else) hardcoded. Backed up a bit to the main jump table to find Yoshi's branch. They've been hiding in segment 6 the whole time (as opposed to after the texture list in segment 9 like most tracks). I should just start referring to segment 6 as "the blob", the way they stuff so much in there.

AAARGH these two preteen girls in the house behind us have been blasting music outside for the last hour. Loud enough for me to hear "I Kissed a Girl" inside my house. I blasted some Gang of Four to hopefully get them to shut up, but I don't want other angry neighbours coming to me. Fuck. If only there was some way to annoy them and not others.

All tired linking of comics aside the easiest solution is kill some brain cells until you are mentally 8 years old to try and get some enjoyment out of the music.

As obvious as this suggestion is, have you tried closing the doors/windows?

So I now have a semi-hobby. Learning Latin. Not exactly what I was looking for (or feasible), but it's something for me to do while waiting for my Latin classes to start.
