Reaper Bolt Throwers are supposed to be very affective. Although in the previous 5 battles, 5 shades in one battle proved more affective than a battery of two of them big bulky crossbows. And yes, executioners are very cool BUT, they're expensive at 12 points per model. Your enemy will also realise they are very deadly, and thus the unit attracts lots of missile fire, so you need a large unit of them to assure they get into combat without running of the battlefield. (Plus, I would have to buy
. I just have
every other unit.)
And I have NO character issues: my assassin makes short work of them: WS9, Always Strikes First, Poisoned attacks, 4+D3 attacks at str 4 and eternal Hatred (re-roll missed to-hit rolls in the first round of combat). I should be fine.
