It's the emission spectrum of Iridium in a scarf form. It took forever to make.

It's got 61 colour bands.

Everyone's occasionally wondered if they're the only sentient being surrounded by robots. Today, I am wondering about the exact opposite scenario. How do I know that I'm not a super-advanced robot?

True enough that nobody will know that it is Iridium. But I did recognise it as an emission spectrum.

Any particular significance of Iridium, Meowgan?

For a more colourful scarf, someone could do an absorption spectrum. :D

RT: Play'd a battle with Dark Elves against 4 dragons. Yes, four. Their objective was to kill my (bytheway very lucky, and tough) general. My objective: slay as many dragons as I could. All but 1 were brutally butchered by a mere 1500 points of Dark Elves. It was freaking sweet!

No, there was one High Elf (all -yes, ALL- failed rolls to-hit may be re-rolled. Eternal hatred against High Elves :) ) Arcane Mage riding one, and 3 "regular" High Elf Lords. The Arcane Mage was shot of his steed by a bunch of shades, and his dragon by the bolt of a Reaper Bolt Thrower. Then there was one butchered my a Dreadlord and one overrun by his unit. We named him "Dragonslayer". Then there was one unit spearmen entirely wiped out (not overrun, wiped out I said) by the same unit and one single archer was shot by 5 Dark Riders which proved to be excelent live body armour. (My Hydra was spared, instead of butchered by a hail of longbow shots. :D )
All in all, it was a great day.

(To be precise: 3 of the 5 Cold One Knights fell, 3 of the 5 Dark rider were shot, 2 of the 10 Crossbowmen were horribly burned by a dragon's breath and 2 shades fell under the High Elves' arrows. No more, no less.)

This morning I did a good deed and stopped to help some guy in my apartment complex; his car battery was dead and he needed a jump.

This got me thinking. I'm generally a pretty unsociable person, especially when it comes to strangers. So why was I nice enough to stop and help? And it's not really an isolated incident. Another time in a different complex, I looked outside to see a couple girls trying to do something with a car and it was raining outside, I decided to go help out. Another time I stopped a gave a guy a ride to somewhere that was on my way to work.

It's interesting, to me, that my being a pretty nice guy sometimes overrides my usual dislike of the general populace.
