Another foe defeated!

On another random note: submitted for your appraisal. I got bored and tried making a new signature banner since my old one disappeared.Turns out I suck at even the most basic of graphics design. Therefore, with that in mind. I riffed off thisbanner from firefox themes and shoved the Antimony symbol in a corner. (Random) Thoughts?

Well of course, she hasn't much practise, unlike some people...

EDIT: I'm going to leave this guy here as a sign that I'm not actually offended. However instead of using the normal smiley for this situation I'm going to give a little love to one of the underused ones. Assume he still represents a peace offering.

You really shouldn't talk bad about SecondTalon like that. It's rude when he's not here to defend himself.

I'd fade more, less stark contrast between the two halves and more gradiant between the two poles.

I probably should have mentioned that I was going to put a little link to where I got it from. Also why I grabbed it from a source where it was intended for public use, albeit as a theme, not for a banner. Still, since I'm not making money off of it I don't think it's likely to be a legal issue. I understand however why putting my little symbol on it might be considered rude.

I also note that it's a flag, so I'm not certain how much I'd want to remove the lines from it. Hmmm, perhaps I should keep looking.

I cannot feel the left side of my face. This is an odd sensation, quite unexpected really. However, the pink lemonade I am drinking currently is rather making up for it.

Because I was just laying on the ground trying to get a good angle under my TV so that I could run some wiring up and into my sound system to switch from HDMI to optical audio. I was probably pinching a blood vessel, or some such thing, and failed to notice because I was focused on the task at hand. This, unfortunately, is a common failing of mine.

One of many.

The only downside to losing weight is not actually fitting in your own clothes anymore. Your larger clothes are too big, and your smaller clothes are stretched and worn from trying to fit in them when you started gaining weight and were in denial about looking like shit in them.

I'm going to have to buy some new clothes tomorrow.

Well, I didn't start wearing ABUs until recently, so I bought them after I had already lost a considerable amount of weight. I think I'm wearing a 42 coat and 38 pants now. On 1 January, I probably would have only fit in a 46 coat and 40 pants.

The reason I say "I think" is because your post just reminded me that I left my ABUs at work AGAIN. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I PT at work and often forget to retrieve my ABUs out of my locker/from the watch floor when I leave because I'm allowed to stay in my PT gear from 1700 to 1900 (when I get off work) if I want to. Blah.

A friend of mine spent the past weekend watching Tom & Jerry with his 2 year old daughter, and concluded the following list of events:

Mouse kills cat with a shot to the head - 13
Cat whistles at female cat, forcibly kisses her despite her objections - 5
Cat places a bomb in mouse's hole and blows mouse to bits - 21
Cat drinks alcohol - 16
Mouse drinks alcohol - 2
Cat smokes - 8
Mouse smokes - 2
Cat drinks chemicals - 1
Cat tries to eat a baby/duckling/puppy/chick - 7
Hammer to the head - 25
Stabbings with a knife - 6

It's fun being a kid and seeing it for the slapstick, it's fun being an adult and seeing it because it's BAD FOR YOU!!

I'm trying to find the study they tried where they showed a clip of Tom chasing Jerry around with an axe to a group of 3-7 (?) year olds, then immediately showed Jack Nicholson doing the same thing to Scatman Crothers in The Shining. I can't remember if they terminated the study because the Shining upset the kids too much, or if the parents intervened in horror. Me, I'd have gone for a more Clockwork Orange approach.
