I wonder if boredom existed before the invention of leisure time (aka agriculture). And if so, what mischief arose out of it back then.

If they were anything like me? Drinking and playing with rocks.

The Joke was intended to point out how ridiculous some of our private institutions can be. How are they taxed? Who fronts the money for the loan? How are they able to write off the losses?

Your landlady seems a little... odd. I would probably move or try to sort things out with her in person.

It's less like living with a landlady and more like living with a more energetic version of my grandmother.

Did you know I haven't touched it for months? Despite the rapturous reviews I got from the Harry Potter/Battleship Potemkin crossover guild. Someone we all know well made a ripping yarn about a rose garden and an exchange student; real Barbershop o' Horrors stuff. And I don't just mean kitty with a string. Bitter almonds; always a winner. Ubiquitous much? Not 'arf !

It's the author that blows my mind as well. This guy wrote all the charming tales about school children overcoming obstacles in slightly fantastical worlds?

Three to the chest, two to the head. Somebody didn't like them. Odd that they didn't take the money though... They, or someone afterwards, took his phone out of the holster. Couldn't be the shooter, they'd know we'd track the SIM card. Unless they want us to find something... Ok, call in the birds, I want 7D scans of this whole area. Send out three teams on each track, find where it ends. Track the phone, we'll see if we can find who has it. If nothing else, maybe we can get a better TOD.

Move people, shit isn't getting done on its own.

MMM: I just got an 8 on this color-hue ordering test do-dad. The scale is apparently 0 (best) - 99 (worst) but when I entered in my age + sex it said something about -11k and 12k point ranges. Man, sorting by hue is eye-strain-y!

My friend sent it to me, I was not gonna do it since it calls itself a color IQ test. Whatever that is supposed to mean. Seems more like a colorblind test, but more tedious/time consuming.

I also just realized that I had F.lux running, though that should theoretically have affected everything equally, but still might have made it harder.

Perfect score on the color test. Didn't even hurt my eyes. Either I'm just really lucky, or I'm actually a raptor terminator.

I started on the left end for each, chose what looked the most like the left end, find a spot, repeat. Only took a few minor adjustments.

Hi, I'm twelve years old.

Maybe if I tried to do the color test on my regular Dell monitor it wouldn't hurt my eyes as much. The only way I could see the colors on my high-gloss color LCD Macbook screen was cranking the brightness all the way up, and that shit glares. Like I said, flashing neon. Ow.

Yesterday the full moon was jeweled brilliance. If I didn't live in a college town with relentlessly well-lit streets, I could have walked by lunar light alone. And apparently that was Jupiter hanging out nearby. It was nice. We drank tea and tried (failed) to write poetry.
