I can't find any helpful information on either the Alaska or Iowa DMV websites.

I couldn't find anything either. I'm thinking it's fine but the best thing could find is a toll free phone number you could call and ask (found here). If all else fails I could walk over to the dmv place next to my apartment sometime in the next few days if you can't find anything else out.

Thanks!

If all fails, I'll probably just go visit the county courthouse the day I arrive home and ask in person.

Are you sure it's not secretly a communist silo base?

It really sucks the first time you try to vacation at one of those.

Existence is all there is, yet existence itself is nothingness.

It looked like your were in 7.107 islands. That's 7 islands, plus 0.107 of an island. I have suspicions you changed the . to a , after I posted that, because I could have sworn it was a . originally.

I was discussing Buddhist philosophy with a friend of mine over the weekend and I came up with that as a koan. She liked it, so I wondered what people here would make of it.

The wine bottle got rejected because it claimed that the ocean subsides at high tide. That's not even something that you need Google for. Luckily, the bottle I chose instead was very nice.

It's kind of unsettling that the list of things I look forward to in life consists almost entirely of video games.

Top 5 is like

Mass Effect 3
Deus Ex 3
Getting my degrees this spring
Fallout: New Vegas
Getting a bigger apartment

Maybe there are 7 islands and a peninsula that becomes an island during high tide so that it is isolated 10.7% of the time?

Didn't sleep last night, first day of school, class at 7:40.
I'm gonna eat hot-dogs for breakfast, walk the 4+ miles to school with the sun rising somewhere near the end, sit through classes, eat lunch, take the bus home, and take a much needed sleep.
It's gonna be epic. 8)

Mr. Salesman told me that the delivery time for a phone is 1 to 2 weeks. Mr. Salesman's company's website says that the delivery time for the same phone is 4 to 8 weeks. I hope Mr. Salesman didn't lie to me when I ordered the phone.

Locomotive filled with mango juice gets derailed in Springfield, causes flood which snarls traffic over a two block area. The ant population doubles overnight, triggering a sudden incursion into local homes. As the ants go marching down, to the ground, to get out of the rain.

Anemia is the opposite of scurvy? I think dehydration is better, one of the possible side-effects of too much vitamin C.

I was more thinking the lack of iron that comes with anemia. <shrug> It could go several directions. The total opposite would of course be perfectly healthy ninjas with STI-immunity.

You know, dehydration in large doses of vitamin C would only be secondary to diarrhea, an admittedly common side effect of large doses of vitamin C. It's not really that much a side-effect in itself.
