Heh.

Starting this essay was actually easier than I thought it would be. 390 words down, 3610 words to go.

Allons!
Significantly less weird than I used to be. Still pretty weird.

That's like hurricane strength winds. Left 40,000 people in the region without power and 'caused several fires from downed power lines. It was hard to sleep with no fan and afraid of being squished by a falling tree.

I've come to realize that the fact that people are no longer eating oatmeal is a significant part of what's wrong with the world today.
I edit my posts a lot and sometimes the words wrong order words appear in sentences get messed up.

It's not cream cheese. It has it in it, but the sugar, butter, and liquid change it.

tastelikecoke, I'm confused. Your location says 7.107 islands, so I googled it. But there is no explanation as to how you can have a fraction of an island. Surely if you have 7 islands and then 0.107 of an island, you actually have 8 islands? Or is the last one only above water 10.7% of the time or something?

After living alone for about 8 months, I have come to the conclusion that bacon is not that tasty afterall. It's just small pieces of ham in way too much grease and salt.

Are you buying the bacon from stores? You know, the kind of bacon thats see-through, drowning in artificial juices added at the factory so much the package is a water balloon?

I command you, to right now march yourself to the nearest farmers market and buy bacon from an amish farmer. Or some such colony type people.

Its only about a billion times better.

Also, 70 mph winds would be tropical storm strength. It doesn't become hurricane strength until 75 mph.

I'm trying to figure out if it would be legal to drive in the state of Iowa with my Alaska-issued instructional permit. I'm going on leave in mid-September, and I'd like to get some driving practice in at home before I take my road test when I get back to Alaska.

I can't find any helpful information on either the Alaska or Iowa DMV websites.

I couldn't find anything either. I'm thinking it's fine but the best thing could find is a toll free phone number you could call and ask (found here). If all else fails I could walk over to the dmv place next to my apartment sometime in the next few days if you can't find anything else out.
