I don't know what kind or how many, because I haven't actually seen them. I have heard them scuffling about and they ATE MY BISCUITS so suffering is open to negotiation. I do not care if they live or die.

You know how there are things you should get over because you cannot change them and they don't really matter but they are super annoying and insulting and hurtful?
I want to learn how to get over those things.

Random thought for the day: is it just me or does using someone else computer feel some how wrong and slightly dirty? :? I am away for work and do not have acess to my own netbook and I am using my bosses giant lenovo thinkpad and it just feels so wrong and big and hot as hell. I kinda feel like I am cheating on my netbook I was told there was going to be wifi so it is sitting all alone in it's neat little case while I use this slow giant thing. *Sigh* I can't wait to get home.

If you don't care if they live or die, put bait inside a glue trap (purchased from any hardware store around where I live), and place the glue trap near where they frequent. Bait will entice them in, they'll get stuck on the glue, and you can decide their fate at that point.

I first got glasses when I was, like 3 or for years old, and my eyes slowly improved until I finished primary school and could do without.
And today I went to have my eyes tested and I need glasses again, 6 years later.

At least I don't have to where an eyepatch again like I had to when I was younger.

Eyepatches can be fun for a little while, but they get old.

I wore one for 3 or 4 hours for a Halloween costume a few years ago. It was pretty awesome at first, but I got kind of tired of it by the end of the night. Sure, I could've taken it off, but I was dedicated to my software pirate costume.

Also, alcohol probably didn't help in dealing with only having vision out of one eye.

That was cos my dad's a pirate and thought it looked cool.

Alternatively, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amblyopia]Does this clear things up a bit?
I had to wear an eyepatch on my good eye several hours a day to give my 'lazy eye' something to do.

A good friend of mine from these fora, Coin, bought me a pirate eyepatch with a skull on it. the teeth were cut out so it could be seen through, all it did was upset peripheral vision on one side!

I was once starring in a friend's film and, as the villain, I, of course, had to wear an eyepatch (how's that for subordinate clauses!) for a rather long time. In one scene I had to hit somebody round the face but, due to the eye patch, my first swipe was more than a foot away. Cue much laughter from the people assembled because I'd warnd them it might hurt...
Also, I like eyepatches :D

It is only acceptable to write in somebody else's diary if you address it to them from the diary, saying what happened to the diary that day.

Turns out, my laptop has that functionality built in! I was unaware until now though, so thanks! That will stop it from being crazy while I type, won't stop it from clicking or scrolling while I'm just trying to move it though, but I may just have to dig my mouse out and deal with that. I use it when I'm at a desk, but when I want to sit in bed or on my couch, its a bit more difficult.

RT: Like [this] comic, I wish I could find all objects that provide the wittiest retort to things.

Furthermore, I'd rank them in the likelihood of being used, in combination with the comedic value when being used, and their size. Hopefully I'd be able to compile a collection of objects that I could carry around within a small given amount of space to provide the highest likelihood of an highly comedic witty retort. With the list I could regularly cycle them to provide fresh wit for quite a few given situations.

Also, if that didn't make sense, it's because its 5:30am.
