I don't know about hot, but I agree with the rest of it. The first time I saw ripped jeans for sale, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. They were charging more for a damaged product. Madness.

I have ripped, faded jeans because I'm too cheap to buy new ones.

I don't know if there's places that still do this, but there was a point in the 90s where you could buy perfectly normal, non-ripped non-stonewashed jeans. And then pay sometime to "professionally" rip & distress them.

To me, that makes about as much sense as paying someone to come into your house with a sledgehammer and go on a wrecking spree.

All my favorite and comfortable jeans have rips in them making them unwearable. I wish I knew how to sew better.

Not because he's stupid, no no. He's a self-destructive masochist and wants to feel like shit. Probably so he can take a long walk off a short pier while wearing his new cement overshoes."

Well, there's always something to be said for concision. The point remains that "Something that says "nevermore" way too fucking much," is in accordance with the narrator's feelings towards the raven.

I gave up on fixing the knee of my jeans, decided it'd be easier to just stick a hem around the hole to keep it from getting bigger.

That's just ignorant. They damage the product... then repair it well (at least the good brands do, someone presumably has come up with the idea of selling cheaper ones that are just damaged). The difference between the stressed jeans and ones that are just damaged is that the damaged ones will get more damaged in short course, where the stressed ones will have a lifespan more similar to new jeans.

Noticed lately that I get stuck in phrasing phases. Like, right now, whenever I talk about myself, its always "Guess who [something in relation to me]?" E.g., *Jacyn slips and falls* "Guess who just made a complete idiot out of herself?" A few weeks ago, it was a talk-in-third-person phase.

I've actually weaponized this in regards to cursing. As I'm still in Highschool and living with my parents, full out cussing is not all that acceptable most of the time. However, with this little habit, I can train myself into using things like frak and gorram instinctively, so I don't accidentally tell a teacher to go fuck themselves. (I don't understand why they don't take offense to "frak", as it's honestly just as disrespectful, but whatever, it works.) And anyone who gets the reference is awesome.

Plus, using the same words over and over is boring.

F/R/T: I also apparently can't grasp the fleeting aspect of this thread. I always want to post things more akin to "introspective essays".

To be fair and in all fairness are stupid. "Granted" and "regardless" are the real gems. YOU CAN USE THEM TO COMPLETELY IGNORE VALID POINTS AND PURSUE YOUR ARGUMENT AS THOUGH NOTHING HAPPENED! Think about it. What do you really mean when you start your sentence with "Regardless, ..."? You mean, "I don't give a crap about whether you've got a point or not, this is what's what!"

What I'm saying is that if you conserve your freezer openings, and you increase the timespan it takes for it to frost up.

Eyjafjallajøkull isn't as difficult as people like to pretend it to be either. Basically it's Eyja - fjalla - jøkull (island - mountain - glacier), it just looks difficult due to all the l's and j's.

Now words with th and ou-sounds on the other hand, those are bloody difficult to tell apart and get right. Though, thought, tough :s
