Would you rather....

Postby Quadropus » Fri Jan 04, 2008 10:51 pm UTC

Simple game, post your answer then set another question.

Start with...

Would you rather die a virgin or have sex with your mum [if male] or dad [if female]. Actually either parent...

Die a virgin (hypothetically)

How about...

Would you rather die peacefully or go out with a bang.

That's a tough one, both are sweet, but I think life is short, and I'd like to dramatically go out with a bang. Seriously, I'm gonna get me some stumping dynamite and make sure people KNOW where I died.

Would you rather have $1,000,000, or become the absolute BEST at something, some sort of skill?

I would like to be the absolute best at something... purely because I have no talents.

Would you rather be able to do loads of things relatively well, or one thing brilliantly.
(yes, it is similar to the previous question, but hey!)

Loads of things relatively well, because I'd rather not be famous and be loved by all because of some relatively cheap gimmick, but be loved by a few because I can handle most things with ease.

Would you rather be a Nobel prize-winning scientist or a world-famous artist?

Oh, sweet salmon, I'll miss you. Don't love it enough to sacrifice Pratchett!
Then again he's unlikely to write many more books depending on his illlness... nope, still Pratchett, I can just reread the existing ones (still have a few I haven't read once yet in fact. *goes to bookshop*).

Astronaut.

Would you rather get in a car crash where you absolutely destroy both of the cars due to your own fault but no one suffers physical damage or would you rather have the accident caused by the other driver and break a leg?

I think I'd rather break a leg than pay for two destroyed cars.

Would you rather do a two year tour around the world (all expenses paid) or a two year trip to Mars (including everything you'd need, like food, air and a car to drive around in)?

If I'm not alone on the trip to Mars, I'd definitely choose that. I could always write a book and earn enough for a trip around the world. If I were alone, I'd probably choose the trip around the world.

Would you rather have all of the internet memorized (and the ability to look through it effectively to find what you want) or the ability to read people's minds?

The world. There's so much still to see and do here; and I know how much there is to see and do and what I'm missing out on. I've never really concidered going to Mars or anywhere outside the atmosphere so I don't have any expectations of experiencing it. I don't feel like I'm missing out where I do feel like that because I've never been to Thailand or the Grand Canyon or Jordan or the Carribean or skiing...

Would you rather we colonized Mars or live in big spacefaring ship-cities like space nomads?

Space nomads - more efficient and higher survival chance.

Read people's minds. All the information on the internet you can find out for yourself but you can never figure out what other people are thinking.

Plants no pets. Current situation. Alergic to cats ( ;_; ) but plants give life to a room and it always at least feels like the air is fresher. I play with the neighbour's cat (and then wash my hands but at least the fur's not all over my house).

First cousin by blood I guess, as I've not met some of them EVER so I may even not ever notice until it got to "who to invite to the wedding"

Would you rather wait in a boring post office queue for 45 minutes on your lunch hour while grannies around you moan and complain or have to walk to town and back in the pouring rain?

Would you rather: have every conceivable super power except the power to create life (without procreation), without the ability to kill yourself but guaranteed to live until the end of the universe (big freeze/crunch or whatever)

Spoiler:
Does it foil your plans to point out that heterosexual girls probably have less of a problem with the idea of another girl than most heterosexual males (with another man)? Guess my choice.

I would rather remember the fake life, assuming the amnesia never gets cured. Where ignorance is bliss (I guess the fake life was nice?) it is folly to be wise.
