Wow! This game is amazing! These covers are all so awesome!

I think my new years resolution will have to be creating the music to go with either one of these:

Italian General Election 1921 are a symphonic band, one of the only ones in the world who play without any electronic instruments or lyrics. They are currently preparing for their next stadium gig in central Cairo.

you know, i think the xkcd community might actually be able to make money doing these album covers; some of these look really good. Two more:

Image
Artist: Francesco Fausto Nitti
Album: When We Loved Not Enough

Nitti, a classical composer from Italy, has recently expanded into the opera and ambience genres. This is an interpretive look at nature, from the view of energy.

Don't really like the difference used for the top though, doesn't fit well : /

Image

Band: Longview Cannibals
Album: Opinions Confine Themselves to Facts

The Longview Cannibals, a death metal band from Longview, California; release their latest album. A thrash protest against the censorship of political parties in some parts of the world.

I loved the name i got for that one. Can you believe there was an actual baseball team called the Longview Cannibals? xD

Image
The debut album of the entirely blind Yemeni band Bayt Ar Rubu`i.

Image

Artist: Molecular Cloning
Album: If Nowhere Else

The college breakcore artist Molecular Cloning uses junglestep and raggacore in new and interesting ways. The album is composed entirely of samples from protests, wars and massacres; this gives each song an eerie mood of violence.

Image

Band: Gloria in Excelsis Deo
Album: What People Say You Cannot do

Gloria in Excelsis Deo; the anarchist, anti-religious progressive rock band seeks to push the boundaries of experimental and progressive music with this borderline Dadaist album.

Edit: added the titles/band names.

Mycobacterium heceshornense (try saying that 5 times fast) has come out with their epic rock ballads and death metal, you'll want to tear your hair out after this one.

Influenced by sources such as Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, Chlamydephoridae are an experimental rock band who seek to revolutionize the rock genre. Their third album, Covered Up by Paint, is entirely instrumental; weaving almost monotone repetitions of rhythmic motif with messy, brief guitar, drum, and piano solo riffs.
