Re: 2012 NFL fantasy league

Gonna take a punt and Keep Stewart on my active team, despite his ankle costing me points last week. Reckon with not having to play until Sunday he should be fine, and start netting me some super points again. Feeling good about my position of 4th in the league, could see myself consolidating that i...

Re: 2012 NFL fantasy league

What a crazy week! Totally turned it round. Had I put Burleson in this week I'd be absolutely smashing it at this point. Still a little bit tense, but feeling so much better than I did five days ago.

Spoiler:
I believe that was the point. This Doctor, with the increased absence of the Ponds, is becoming more emotional, more irrational. The guilt-fuelled anger is getting worse, and causing him to make bad decisions.

Re: Doctor Whom

I enjoy Moffat's writing, but am also totally aware of, and annoyed by, the problematic side of it. (I have the same feeling with Whedon's occasional racist undertones). I think that's why I enjoyed Sherlock so much. He gets to write an intentionally genius character, and the only real woman he has ...

HotS betas are currently limited to friends of developers, key people in the scene (PR managers, some players, some casters) and people who play a bunch of multi-player. Thus, if you're not too into the multi-player you will not get much out of the beta.

My problem with the article is the assumption that escapism is a bad thing. I think it's perfectly healthy to vacation from reality from time to time, especially when things aren't going your way. All entertainment is a form of escapism. Except for reflecting on how awesome your life is, if you fin...

The reason is incredibly relevant. How can you think otherwise? Like this, evidently. The right to your chosen name in a classroom is clearly not absolute; students are asked to make accommodations in a clear majority of classrooms around the world every day, and this is not a burden that falls dis...

Something I'm not entirely sure about: If you're trying to minimize the damage from the bomb, wouldn't dropping it in the water help more than just flying away really fast? Or is nuking Aquaman a bad thing? They had said the blast radius was something like 6 or 12 miles. I'm pretty sure 6. So he ha...
