I bought an 18-bottle box of Fullers Frontier lager a while back. Just over halfway through, and it's still really good. Can thoroughly recommend it for a dry-hopped lager with new world hops.

I get the impression that choosing the leaders of the parties in the US is almost as important as choosing the President, because there's a whole nation's spread of opinions in just two equally sized parties.

That's correct, but the international community is pretty comfortable with the idea of confiscating the land owned by monarchs. It's not like the reaction that confiscating, say, a Coca-Cola bottling plant would get.

ignoring the ups and downs that are possible now. Ups and downs were always possible, if rare. Families could be married into if you have money, monarchs were free to hand out titles as they wish - or strip people of titles as punishment. Second and third sons of the nobility only had a family name...

Reading Charles Darwin's original theories of evolution includes the idea that we evolved from worms. Check out this animal which is a deuterosome, like you and I are (though I'll admit it's not a chordate). The idea of evolving from worms seems pretty sensible to me. https://upload.wikimedia.org/w...

Ironically 6000-yr creationism is entirely compatible with natural selection and evolution. There's been as much evolution as has happened in the last 6000 years.

As I understand it, it originally meant those who lived in cities or owned their own farmland and lived on it, as opposed to peasants tied to the land or aristocracy.

Today in the UK I think it means the different cultures that have arisen from people with different amounts of property and influence.

Dogfish Head is a funny name to hear in the UK. They sold rights to use their name to a brewer called Wells who produces an insipid yellow liquid called DNA. It used to be severely overpriced, I think it's come down recently. It's not great in any case.
