Re: Wheel of Time 2 - The White Tower (D1)

My primary argument here is that lynching mafia doesn't give nearly us as much useful information as lynching town (Day One only) I disagree, in my experience lynching Mafia D1 usually gives us least 2-3 confirmed townies based on vote-analysis. Fair point. I haven't spent any time looking at what ...

I was SK, so it was obviously in Mafia's favor to lynch me I think that the mafia would have been better off leaving you alive for at least the first night, since it's far more likely for any given SK to kill town. I stand by that. but it fails completely to justify your final verdict of "it's...

Six out of seven Ajahs recommend Colgate Total getting rid of darkfriends! Now, this is a curious statement. Woo! Nice job Asmodieus! I was nearly certain we were going to lose after I got killed. One thing I'm not sure anyone said yet is that we didn't know who our scumbuddy was until N2. It made playing those first two days particularly difficult, trying to suss out who my partner was.

First of all I just wanna make sure my votes are counted correctly. My vote for cobalt should be Lawrencelot and ruby (right now) should be ajh. I do mostly trust your result. And as I said yesterday, I think we're going to need to give both gems to one person tonight. Unless there are any objections, I think our best bet is gonna be Lawrencelot, since he's the closest we have to confirmed town. It might also be a good idea for the vig to ta...

We just don't have many shots to get this right. It's unlikely we'd get lucky D1 and find the right person, but there's a chance. I'm pretty sure you're right about there being just town and scum. But the ruby reveals vig and chosen one too. With that information scum would have a much easier time keeping the gems out of that person's hands. Personally, if I were scum, and I got both gems, I'd use the ruby.

Looks like Vytron is getting lynched. It's a fine strategy in theory, but I hope we all realize we're taking a risk that Vytron isn't the jester. If he is we're royally screwed. If the demoltion goes through, you lose me. If I can't protect my target, you lose them, and with the Mafia kill, you lose...

Name the other ways the kill could have failed. Targeting the SK is the only other option, which you apparently didn't realise. At the beginning of D2 it was believed that scum and SK could have both gone for Vytron, and that's how scum missed. Misnomer dis-confirmed that. Now I know that the Mafia...

I'm still not sure about ahippo because I wasn't following reasoning on CBusAlex. Let's imagine CBusAlex is the jester. The easiest way to get lynched is very simple. Send off a magic missile on Lawrencelot (or anyone generally townie) and say, "I'm the jester. If you lynch me today, you keep ...
