Re: Everything Must GO! One Week until the Rapture!

For each failed prediction, cults actually tend to become stronger. One possible explanation is that the less-deluded individuals just leave the group, leaving only the ones that are fanatical enough. It should be Wednesday. Not any particular Wednesday, just... Wednesday. That makes perfect sense. ...

But it's faster with computers. First you build a working replica of Charles Babbage's analytical engine. Then you take it apart and use a 3d scanner to create a model of each piece. You assemble them all again in any 3d edition program, and load the whole model into a physics simulation software. N...

IIRC: Modern laptop batteries don't have a memory effect, so don't worry about keeping it always plugged in. The main cause of loss of battery capacity is heat, so try to keep your battery cool. If you have to store it for a long time, charge it to about 40% and put it in the refrigerator. Links: [1...

If I understood it well what sje46 is saying is basically: gay+repressed → priest → more repressed → molester. That doesn't exclude straight → priest → molester, though it doesn't imply it either. Prison sex is, I think, completely unrelated to this.

1. Build big powerful army with the money.
2. Invade third world country with lots of corruption (Somalia? Burma?)
3. Bring education, health and freedom to that country.
4. Use money generated by the country to invade neighboring country.
5. Repeat from step 3.

Unrelated: since neutrinos can go right through the Earth, if we found simple ways to emit them and de...
