Re: unhatched fishes and turtle excluding devices

Had a weird situation once in college. I held open a door for a young man and he said, "thanks, man, you're a honky cracker." I still have no idea if he was being serious, sarcastic, or something else. I was told that my haircut was "doing me a mercy" the other day by someone wh...

Re: Pant Thread (because we need more panting)

If you want to have sex your car, first off: don't. It's messy, there's always stuff in the way and you never know who sees you. If you absolutely must however, pick a desolated spot. Somewhere in the woods for instance. Don't pick a residential area. And you should absolutely not park your car in ...

Re: I Shouldn't Have To Say This

I generally try to be a considerate driver - I'll move over from the passing lane if someone wants to go faster than me, I'll let people in from another street or a merging lane if I can do so safely. I use my turn signals religiously. But tailgaters? They are endangering my life because they're imp...

Yeah, I'm stuck with the gene. Cilantro and soap share a great number of aldehydes that taste gross to some people. I've learned to appreciate small amounts of it in salsas and some entreés, but get that shit off of my Bahn Mi or I will barf.

Oddly enough the US has a subtle North-South Mayonnaise-MiracleWhip schism. Mayo doesn't have enough of its own flavor to be a decent dipping sauce for fries. Herbed or garlic aioli however is delicious. Wendy's Frosties (chocolate only, none of this vanilla bullshit) are the best for dipping fries...

I believe in a higher power, but not one like the Judeo-Christian God. More like karma or a neutral law of nature than a sentient being that watches over everything. In terms of religion, I don't really even have one. Lotsa stuff that's more tradition than anything else, but no organized "foll...

Re: Controversial opinions about food

As far as traditional pizza toppings go, it's pretty terrible. Usually very oily or soggy, floppy in a bad way, flaky and delicate. Pizza should be none of these things. Dessert toppings don't do that to it, though, and are delicious.
