Re: Double Post

sux2bu Wait, you have only 7GB free, why, if space is "free"? Because I'm going to get a new computer soon so there's not much point in upgrading this one. Also because external hard drives cost peanuts, but I don't think my current computer's internal hard drive can be upgraded. I like V...

Re: My number is, in fact, bigger!

Epsilon is the maximum distance from L that f(N) can be. The limit is L if as epsilon grows arbitrarily small there's still a value of M where for any integer N>M, f(N) is still within epsilon of L. I would use the epsilon symbol but I don't know how to get that so I just use e to mean epsilon. How ...

Re: My number is, in fact, bigger!

In that case the limit does not exist. If there is no number L which fits the definition then the limit does not exist. Also: Just realized, given how W(x,n) is only defined for integers, new function: intinfLim n (f(n)) = L if and only if for every epsilon e there is a number M such that for any in...

Re: My number is, in fact, bigger!

The layman doesn't know what a limit is?
Limn->∞(f(n))=L if and only if for every epsilon e there is a number M such that any N>M, |f(N)-L|<e.

Re: My number is, in fact, bigger!

Your notation involves ...
... Is evil and bad.
Thus, new notation
New function: W(x,n)=
x if n=0
W(x) if n=1
W(W(x,n-1) if n is an integer greater than 1
Undefined if n is negative and/or a non-integer

Now no more need for ...s

And, W(3V1)+W(1,3V1)

Re: Double Post

That depends on what you're doing with it.

If you're backing up stuff on it, then just every time you want to back stuff up you connect the external disk, but other than that you can use your computer without it.
