Re: Borderlands

Has anyone gotten Max Moxxi's Underdome Riot? I was planning on getting this DLC, but then I installed a new OS and started Fallout 3 and Borderlands kind of faded out of the picture. I remember that some things looked very good while others looked like a waste of time, so I'd like to know if it was...

Re: Mass Effect 2 is too hard to type. ME2: Looting Fail?

Unlike Mass Effect, in which there were four weapon types, there are now nineteen different weapons types[18] and the pistol has been broken up into the heavy pistol and the machine pistol.[19] The grenades from the first game do not make a reappearance, but have been replaced by the new heavy weap...

' Meme ' was a word before it was used in 'internet meme', you know. I liked Bioshock mostly for the people in it. Their insanity could just freak you out so much, it was amazing. Sander Cohen was the absolute masterpiece. The whole craziness, as well as the art deco style, made Bioshock's atmospher...

Re: Mass Effect 2 is too hard to type. ME2: Looting Fail?

Yeah, most of the weapons, ammo and armor were redundant anyway. There were like three types of each that succeeded in every situation no matter what, so you didn't have to bother with anything else. Especially when you unlocked the Master Spectre gear. You might as well throw away all of your other...

Re: Bioshock 2

Got some more on multiplayer from the Steam page. Apparently it has a system of experience points that can be used to acquire weapons, plasmids and tonics. It'll take place in the civil war of Rapture, although the reason for this escapes me now. By the way, don't the Call of Duty games have a level...

It's probably not very much story-driven, at least not from an individual perspective. You'll be a plasmid test subject for Sinclair Solutions, and I expect we'll be going up against Fontaine Futuristics or something.

Bioshock 2

Bioshock 2 is almost here! Let me just bring you up to date on this game. In this game: You play the first (?) Big Daddy. You fight the Big Sister. That's the gist of the single player, and the multiplayer is set in Rapture before Bioshock, around the time when shit hits the fan. From what I've seen...

Incidentally, trying to do the above in modded Fallout 3 results in catastrophic failure! My character can't even hold the Guardian Minigun steady, much less hit anything with it. The last time I played through Fallout 3, everything up close was shot with A3-21's Plasma Rifle, and everything far away was shot with the Blackhawk. It's a dream combo, but it's also kind of dull. That FOOK is really something, but I have to say, all the guns they put in there are a bit over the top. There are American and Chinese pistols like Berettas and Shanseis, but also German guns like a Fallschirmjaegergewehr and Heckler & Koch rifles, as well as Russian AK-74 and Abakan rifles. I ...

Nice! I bought Shattered Horizon, and I'm not the only one it seems, as the game is now the third of the top sellers. I was with you up until this part. I'm not sure what you're saying here, what do you mean they can't exist in the same place? At any rate you have somewhat the right idea. It doesn't really matter whether or not you complete the side quests before or after beating the game, because the bosses that respawn give you the improved rewards anyway, even if they are from a quest. I think the idea with those guns is to use 2 or more together, and swap between them. That way, by the time one is emptied, the other is full again.
