Re: Cambervillain Indecipherable Meetup Thread (Boston Area)

I was waiting for a bus in Davis today, and I wondered how many people from here I would recognize on the street. Sandry is about the only 100% sure person I could think of. But I've moved to the epicenter of this community in meatspace and have barely touched it. I would very much like to change th...

Re: Minecraft

After some consideration of the idea, the only reason I suggested a deeper ocean was so that you could end it at the level of the seabed. I realized that you didn't actually have to do that. And, well, for a project like this, you don't *need* 128+ blocks of space to build. 64 is plenty.

Re: Minecraft

What would be your thoughts on seeing about raising a large area of ocean by surrounding it with a high mountain range, perhaps getting terraforming help from ops? I get the feeling that this would look by far the best if it extended down at the very least 64 blocks, and optimally more like 128 bloc...

I remember a few people talking about an idea from a few pictures and a design, but I can't seem to search for it. It was a big hole in the ocean with a cylinder in the middle and people living all over the surface of the walls. Does anyone remember that? If so, links?

Re: The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim : Bacon Workshop

So, how much does difficulty affect the game? I've been playing largely on Apprentice difficulty (one step below default), and everything just seems very easy to kill. Does it really change that much? I mean, I can kill dragons and frost trolls and giants with novice spells. That doesn't seem normal...

When I want to be quiet with the microwave, I just stand by it for the last minute or so and stop it by pushing the open button/lever thing. if i'm really paranoid about it, i don't even clear the one second left on it, as that makes a beep.
