Re: Male Infant Circumcision

I nitpick anyways. But invasiveness is most certainly not a nitpick: if it's invasive, it's harmful. Or at least has a high probability of being harmful. Circumcision is neither of those things. Medically, there is a large difference between being circumcised and getting breast implants. My error a...

Re: Male Infant Circumcision

First, that doesn't counteract the invasiveness of the surgery. Second, due to the fact that breast implants often look unnatural, do we know that they actually make people significantly more attractive? I'm not going to get too involved in this conversation, but I see a systemic nitpicking of anal...

I saw a giant pig from the start, figured there might be food there, and cobble bridged over. Turns out you could get there using a rail I had completely missed, but whatever. Re: What changes do we need to make in our democracy?

As a tangent, where does this weird "The US is not a democracy, it's a republic" notion come from? I've heard it several times before on this forum, and I've also seen it in other places. But it's so silly. Why would you even think that not having a hereditary head of state and having ele...

Re: Minecraft

Unfortunately, Scallel, the 1.0 expedition is going to go north, not east. It has the least generated 1.7/8 terrain. And we really don't want a nether rail in that direction, as a ton of work is going into the overworld path, and we want it to be separate and hard to access. If you can survive a 150...

Yeah, I had a feeling that's what you'd say. Call it beta testing. But that's my play style in dark areas. Tame it, remove the danger. Carry stacks of torches and arrows and pick the enemies off from a distance, then put torches in their place. I would get to the Green, I would just leave a wide pat...

I would like to see it custom-built. With a good amount of people working on it, I could see it being amazing. I would really like to see this be a nice piece of architecture.
