Re: Woman Thread - Holds 5% more blue liquid than other brands!

Yeah I just started on Thursday and within a couple of hours was feeling the effects (happy feeling nipples and a really weird mental state) and I had no idea they would be so powerful. Hopefully mentally things'll settle down a little in the following days because I have not been feeling remotely n...

Re: Woman Thread - Holds 5% more blue liquid than other brands!

Wow these female hormones are making me feel really really really really strange. But not in a bad way. My coworker picked up on it somehow and asked if I was feeling alright, then asked if I was high (well I was am pretty out of it) . Also: early results are most promising 8) @marshlight Not cool a...

Re: Transexuality

I have two trans (I guess) friends: One MTF and one female-born genderqueer. My main issue is that when I talk to her, I'm really hearing a 15-year-old girl tell me that she hates her body and hates her breasts and her genitals, etc. My first reflex when I hear that is not to tell a teenage girl to...

Re: "Ouch" moments in school

Don't they publish the solutions? I am curious about the solution. This task reminds me of my above-described ouch moment regarding the induction math exam. Usually they give back the assignments with corrections. But since this is for the final and we never see the teachers ever again you specific...

And yes; I'm getting a sex change, I'm just not very far along yet... starting HRT tomorrow probably. DON'T DO I--*chokes as a tranquilizer needle is shot into my skin* OK, I'll just forget about the past four months of counselling, hundreds of dollars in various expenses, and years of inner turmoi...

Re: "Ouch" moments in school

Just for the sake of curiosity I'll email the teacher and ask how I can get my assignment back or at least how she graded that problem, and what the right answer was. Most of the time I don't worry about obtaining graded papers after the final's over. And yes; I'm getting a sex change, I'm just not ...

Re: "Ouch" moments in school

Back in high school I had two state mandated standardized essay test in one day. Normally this would just be boring but no big deal; but the day before I had crashed my bicycle and took the brunt of the force on my writing (left) hand. Because of this my hand hurt quite a deal while writing. I alter...

Re: Making the world a weirder place

I've been wearing a cape to my finals every semester. At first it was just a Yu-Gi-Oh blanket tied around my neck, but then I got an awesome bright red cape. Some other weird stuff around campus (not my doing): Chalk graffiti that says "Dear Humanity Live free, die happy. --IX" The word &q...

Re: How has the economy affected you?

I got hired for my first job ever at the beginning of this semester. Job hunting was a real pain (no work history, no references, mediocre grades, no marketable skills, long hair, no drivers licence) and only one person called me back. So now I work as a janitor at my schools student union building ...

Re: Woman Thread - Holds 5% more blue liquid than other brands!

I had to get my blood tested three times in the period of one month. I hated it. The doctor will probably want another test when I go in for a check-up in a month. I act like it's no big deal but the nurses can probably tell I'm just acting tough. There's just something about having a metal cylinder...

Re: Woman Thread - Holds 5% more blue liquid than other brands!

Depending on the particular pill it can cause things like thrombosis, heart attacks, strokes. My dad's a doctor and I asked him what he thought about my prescription (not the pill you're all talking about but HRT instead) he said he was worried about these kinds of things. Even going over the sympt...

Re: Woman Thread - Holds 5% more blue liquid than other brands!

Someday I'm gonna adopt, it's always been one of my dreams, but not before I have a steady job and a house. I always worry about if I'd be a good parent, but then I just look at all the bad parents out there because they make me look good in comparison :) . @Jessica I don't think anyone really knows...

Gosh, I can't even imagine how that would feel emotionally and you were horribly sick? And "experiences" as in more than once? "suck ass" sounds like it might be a huge understatement. On a brighter note I can empathize with feeling like a thread killer. As for abortion; it proba...

Re: Logical fallacies/douchebaggery in commercials.

The Cable One ads are terrible. Most of them focus around something like how your poor little children won't be able to pass their classes (We see sad poor dejected girl walk home with a D on her report) or download pictures if they have DSL because cable's "up to 4x faster" or whatever (n...

Or an awesome looking poster.
Or a hat.

Seconded for The Bone Dolls Twin . While the gender bending is magical it's not played for cheap laughs or done unrealistically, and the writing is superb. I'm about a third of the way through the sequel. Highly recommended. Has anyone else read All You Zombies by Heinlein? This short story convince...
