Re: [SAFESPACE] LGBTIQQ Thread - Queer Support!

Hi. I'm a "vanilla" straight male who has in the past felt very uneasy about transgender people in general. Looking through this and similar threads has, I think, given me a better perspective on the matter. I'll admit that I'm personally still pretty squeamish about the matte...

Re: Gay: Full of hate or just another swear?

I strain the difference between 'gay' and 'homosexual' whenever I see an argument such as this thread. I don't use the word gay because it generally brings grief because of idiots that think it still means homosexual and want to 'protect the gays'. But if somebody says 'that's gay' or something alo...

62% of all admissions in 2007 were Caucasian ( from this survey ). 50% of moviegoers were women. Therefore approximately 31% of all moviegoers are white males, not most of them, unless there's been a dramatic shift in the last couple of years. And yeah, like you mentioned, most of hollywood is prett...

It might be that women are worse drivers on average, but there are plenty of guys terrible at driving and plenty of women who are awesome at driving. I believe Portland Oregon has a gay mayor. Portland Oregon is pretty cool.
Also I think there are bunches of smaller towns with gay, or in at least one case transgender, mayors.

I wonder if there are any big cities with a lesbian mayor? A bisexual one?
