I find that far less disturbing, maybe just cause it's supposed to just be a visual gross-out. Different strokes, I suppose.

If I'm reading it right, Engage Trickster mode is the creepiest thing that Hussie has done so far. Hands down. It looks like she's still Jane!regular under there, trapped in a mind-controlled bod (See "WHY", "WHEEEE?, etc.) Though it's quite possible that's just Hussie's self-depreca...

Re: League of Legends

I think I mentioned this in passing before, but Maokai is just too much fun to play on dominion right now. Once you've started to become a problem, you've already got enough items to survive two champions and keep the wave off you while your team takes/keep top/mid. Later on (roughly mid game, but t...

Re: League of Legends

Just for the record, since you don't seem to have noticed... Kayle is a woman. It took me a long time to realise this as well. Which, I suppose, is a good thing in that Kayle's character design doesn't have emphatically boob-tastic armour and actually looks realistic, for fantasy-setting armour. An...

Re: Board games anyone?

I think only knowing of it changes the way the game plays and adds FUN! (you know, like dwarf fortress) We spent three games debating whether or not to open it. Finally we set a "winner decides" game. Factions of FOR vs AGAINST emerged. The game stopped being about "What can I do to ...

Damnit, that was the secret! DON'T READ THIS: Under the tray, there's an additional pack labelled "DO NOT OPEN. EVER." It contains a set of cards, and apparently there's lots of different types. I've heard stories of some of the bad things it did , but I was one of the lucky on...

Re: League of Legends

Ok, so two things, first, the sion/anivia is what we run bottom for summoner's rift. Second, it's not actually a good strategy, but it's fun against people who are much less skilled. On top of that, these are normal games, so there's no counter picking, they don't know what's happening til they hit...

Re: Board games anyone?

A friend bought Risk: Legacy and we played to rounds of it yesterday. The premise is similar to regular Risk. However, you can only play 15 rounds of the game, and each time you play, you change the map - the winner can give themselves bonuses on certain continents or cities, destroy cards etc., an...

Re: League of Legends

(e.g. we frequently run sion + anivia botlane and just roll them). I can think of 1 counter strat that will work with any team, and a few counter picks that will ruin that. Moakai bot, for instance, will hold that bot against two people if played smart. Even if you pick a champ that'll get stomped ...

Re: Gaming in 2013: WiiU/XBoxNext/PS4/PCs/Steambox/Ouya

Ah yes, the ol' "I don't need to sell a million £1 copies, just one £1mil copy". Whether or not that's the case, a large part of the resurgence of indie titles can be attributed to the fact that they tend to go for a lot lower cost than triple-a titles. I mean, just talking about console g...

Re: Gaming in 2013: WiiU/XBoxNext/PS4/PCs/Steambox/Ouya

My main concern is the rumor that the next xbox and PS may not play used games. Only a rumor, and for all we know it might not come to pass but it still worries me a bit. This is a good thing. As it stands right now, the used games industry is siphoning off an absolutely ridiculous chunk of game re...

Bot lane in Dominion feels a lot like playing Support in Classic. When your other teammates are good and help you out, you do well. But when the rest of your team sucks, there is nothing you can do to help them. Personally, I don't think the lanes are as hard and fast except for bot lane. In this r...

My biggest issue with Dominion? Apparently no ones know about the objective things. The flip side of that is people that ...

After losing every game, my dad has been put off Innovation. On smartcasting, there's some champions where you want to turn it off on certain abilities. For example, Ez or Ashe's ultis are better non-smartcast, in general, because then you can line the shot up better with the visual indicator. But you can just leave the key pressed to aim... I think you're confusing malphite's abilities. His ultimate is what does the 360 pop up. His other ability is 360 dmg based on armor, which also slows attack speed pretty drastically, which is incredible, if maybe not as good as a pop up. People undervalue the amount of punishment a Malphite can push out on the entire team, even with a tanky build. Sure he has that great ult initiate, but on top of that he has a 360 pop-up which damages more for the armour he stacks, and a click-to-slow that helps him catch up to people. Add a tank-s...

Every Time I die released an album in March, Ex-Lives, and it was amazing. Heavy, raw, dark, even a little silly in places.
