Re: Graffiti

Aww, everyone else has such awesome graffiti. The only moderately-geeky one I've ever seen was "Nietzsche is pietzsche" written in a bathroom stall at my high school. That one kind of amused me, mostly because I doubted any of my peers had the first idea of who he was.

Re: Confessional Thread - A black hole of emu

Confession: When it comes to shocking things on the internet, I tend to block them from my mind. However, I seem unable to block out Chuck Palahniuk's "Guts", which I foolishly read when I saw the link a while back. My expression after reading it was somewhere along the lines of щ(°Д°щ) ....

Re: Unpopular Musical Opinions

American Idiot is a near-perfect album QFT. Re: Books that made you cry

The end of A Tale of Two Cities made me cry ... not at the most convenient moment, considering it was an assigned book for English class, and I cried in class . Pale Blue Dot and Billions and Billions by Carl Sagan also made me cry, but luckily that was at home. The end of Billions and Billion...

Re: Childhood misconceptions

I thought the well-known pregnancy book, "What To Expect When You're Expecting", was some sort of self-help or psychology book. As in, what the repercussions will be if you have the attitude of always "expecting" things to come to you in life. I must've been around 6 or 7. And ab...

Re: INTRO THREAD THE THIRD

Hi, there. I'm Izzie, currently living in Toronto, and female. Now that the basics are out of the way ... ⋅ I'm more of a science nerd, rather than a computer nerd. I especially like, and obsessively read about, evolutionary biology (and biology in general). ⋅  You may have guess...
